The discussion of the old v. new bevel got me wondering today so I put my new PM9 (9094N - black with night sights) on the postal scale at work.
Actual weight with 6-round mag = 16.7 oz.
Weight with size 3 Qwik Grip = 17.0 oz.
Weight with grip and 7 rounds of 124 grain +P Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel = 20.1 oz.
It was clean and lightly lubed because a got my first extended range session in last night. A number of FTFs but nearly all with Blazer ammo. Everything else was doing great. I think I had one other with the 7-round mag. Full box of gold dots without any problems at all.

Jocko, good guestimate.
This explains why my PM9's slide is pushed back about 1/8" when fully seated in my Silent Thunder.

Yep. My mag is 1.7 oz. so that puts the gun only at 15.0 oz. on the postage scale.

pretty dan light for what your holdingin your hands IMO.. People say, yea but Rohrbaugh are lighter by alot and that is true. NOW SHOOT A 100 ROUNDS OUT OF ONE and report back.. I always felt that one can go so light that there is no ppoint of return nor advantage and the disadvantages start to creepin big time . Now if you gonna just test fire a 10-0 rounds out ofthe Rohrbaugh and callit OK and thqat is it and just then always carry it and not really train withit etc, then that gun is the cats ass, no doubt. I can't ustify a fgrand for such a ammo sensitrive gun but if it was in the $600 price range, I probably would buy one, just because. cERTAINLY IN MY HANDS THIS WOULD NOT BA A GUN THAT i WOULD SHOOT SELDOM and carry often. I would shoot it like I stole it ..

Are you allowed to quote yourself?
Anyway, I just received an email reply (responded within hours on a Sunday) from Ron Garret in regards to the Silent Thunder. He said they will need to rework their form gun to accommodate the slide change.
He offered to reform the holster, but, per my request, he provided instructions to do it myself. The holster is perfectly functional as is, but I will reform it to make the fit perfect.
Sorry for thread-jacking, but I didn't want to leave that hanging.
