Well all I finally made it to the range today with my new CM 9. Put approx. 220 115g FMJ through it (3 different brands all worked fine)Finished up with a couple of mags of Speer Gold Dot 124g +p JHP. No issues at all.

The gun overall was great to shoot, very balanced & a very manageable recoil. I had added a Hogue handall grip and really liked it. I think I have found my new favorite C.C. Gun.

Also thanks to Jocko for the great sticky on prepping your new Kahr. Did everything he suggested prior to my range trip.

thats alot of rounds in one session. many times when one does that he gets tired and doesn't realize it and then issues arise and he thinks it is the gun when normally it is a tired shooter Super report. these dman cm9 are just getting so reliable .

You CM9 guys will never build character! None of you are reporting any problems with the CM9. :D

Continued good luck with your new CC.

I also bought a CM9. Picked it up Friday. 200 rounds down the pipe Saturday with absolutely no problems. Great little gun. :biggrin1:

Not a big enough hole for the true "Harry Callahan"

Jocko, that's because of the break in advice you posted in your sticky ;)

Hogue Handall Jr # 18000. Heated it up in Boiling water & it went on no problem. I love mine on my CM9

I have to join the fun here. I haven't had a Kahr for 6 or 7 years, but a CM9 caught my eye in the local shop and I picked it up.

First trip to the range, ran 120 rounds of el cheapo Blazer aluminum 115 FMJ, then 14 Speer Gold Dot 124 +P. Absolutely no problems, and amazingly easy to control and shoot accurately. I'm in love! :)

Problem is, I was back in the local shop, and started sniffing around a Kahr .45... this may not end well!

I put the Handall Jr on my PM45, no boiling or tricks, really wasn't difficult, a little bit of a wrestling match but not bad.
It surely would fit on a CM without difficulty. I thought I'd even heard they were a little loose on the PM9.

http://www.qwikgrip.com/page2.htm Check these out. Tucson has a good picture on another thread. Rubber grips or something like that. I'm really liking the looks of them.

Just in case you don't feel like searching . . . ;)

arizona gunner: Stick with your 9mm those BIG HOLE guns have a tendency to get marblesstuck in the barrels and quarters seem to find there way up i the barrels to. terrible for pocket use, they are like a dman vacuum cleaner, they suck up everything in your pocket . Doesnt matter if they are in a pocket holster, they suck right through the holster, yup, seen it time and time again. Now those small nice 9mm just act normal they don't show off and try to be something they are not. a marble or quarters are safe riding with them. almost like a cat and a dog sleeping sidy by side with a canary sleeping on the cat even. They just get along. Karh 45's are not like that , they are hogs, they want it all. Now I am not prejudice towards 9's. ask anyone on this forum they will tell you ol jocko is reallyOPEN MINDED but take my word for it. If you buy a kahr 45,I don't care where you hide your kahr cm9. that 45 will try to harm it. U will find parts mssing out of ur cm9. Trust me, I would not lie about this. 45's do not play well with others.

Well that isn't really a problem. Look at us here, we all have the bug, some worse than others, but we all have it. I doubt seriously that any of us, if we had the cash to blow, would turn down another Kahr. Don't worry about jocko, and his love of little holes, those 45's are fantabulous. I own two Kahr 45's, and they play very well with everything else. Besides you know that you want a CM45, and our other dream gun the K/MK/T45. Yes, I'd buy one of all of them.
