Does anyone like or use these night sights? Thanks in advance.

Yes. Love them. Super quick target acquisition. It's very comfortable to pull your pistol out in the evening and see that big dot leading you to your target. :59:

I like em alot. Have them on my PM45 and 1 Para Ordnance. The rest will have them eventually. I like the big dot on the small guns and the standard dot on full size guns.

Bonjorno is exactly right in that they aren't for everyone. Some don't care for them but they work great for me and my less than perfect eyesight.

I sent my P9 to XS Sights to have some Big Dots installed. Their service is top notch, and the sights are great!

Here's couple pics (not very good ones :o); One shows front and rear sights in dark, front sight in daylight, and rear in daylight

FYI, I just got a reply from Bigdots for my CW9. They require cutting a dovetail for the front sight.
"The labor would be $70 + the sights ($120) and return S&H for the slide ($9 ground)."
I sure like the idea with wearing progressive lense eye glasses.

I've never heard them offer to cut that dovetail. I'd go for it myself. The sight is good enough in my opinion to make it worth the money.
There doesn't seem to be any sign that they plan to make the post type to fit the CW and now CM's.

What type of equipment is necessary to cut a dovetail?

I had correspondence with Bo Wallace of XS recently about express sights for the CW series pistols and his reply was "We do have sights for the CW, E & CM models. It requires having a dovetail cut for the front sight. The current sight is riveted on and those rivets are not strong enough to hold one of our front sights on." I sent a follow up email asking about the feasibility of making a sight that mounts in a fashion similar to how the Trijicon sight does now (metal posts and screw), but have not received anything in reply.

It can be done with a file, but is best done on a mill:

BTW, here's a link to a little "Bubba " gunsmithing I did on my Charter Arms Undercover that involved cutting a dovetail:
http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=515246 (you'll see why it's best down on a mill).

For bigbob68 (did I spell that right? :) ).
I have an XS Big Dot on my S&W Model 60 and think it fine for up close and personal, minute of torso stuff, but prefer something else for longer range work (may try their standard dot). http://gbrannon.bizhat.com/xs.html

I've got them on my G26.

They are very bright and work well for a SD pistol.
