Well I bought my first Kahr a used PM45. Went home and shot 5 mags and had multiple fail to ejects and brass hitting me in the head. Needless to say I was very disappointed and wished I had gotten a glock. So I called Kahr and returned the pistol on Monday and to my supride had the pistol back on Thursday of the following week. Letter said tunned extractor and replaced mag catch. I have fired 7 mags through it so far, with not a single problem. I hope it continues like this and has no more problems. I would like to thank Kahr for there fast turnaround. QUESTION? Any one who has had a pm45 repaired, has it usually been reliable from then on? Should I feel safe with this as my carry piece? Or usually one trip back to the factory then your good to go? Thanks Richard
PS I really like this pistols size!

Welcome to the forum!
Given that you don't know the history with the original owner, you probably should treat the repaired pistol as a new gun and fire the recommended 200 rounds before declaring it ready for duty.
Generally, Kahr CS gets the job done in one visit. When they don't, it's something odd and may take multiple visits before they figure it out. To their credit, they seem to see the process through to the end no matter how difficult.
Congratulations on your new (to you) Kahr. I'm sure you will be pleased. :)

Milky,
I would test it out, My CW45 is at the factory for the second time since I purchased in April. I still have not yet to enjoy my cw 45 pistol. My pistol has been there since Tuesday May 10,2011 at the factory and still has yet to get back to me...

I am going to continue shooting it and see what happens. As long as it dosent go back to acting up and continues as it is. I will be very happy. It beets carrying my bulky glock 29 any day.
Failure to eject, and hitting you in the head.... from the reading I've done here, that sounds like a pistol that still needs to have its recoil spring assembly given its 200 rounds or so of cycling.
My own experience went from the occasional brass in the head scenario, to no brass in the head now, after... maybe 400 rounds or so. My take is - as rapid as the slide seems to move, moving faster, it throws the brass better. Some cases go "over" my head by a good amount (hitting the overhang at the range).
Keep shootin' it.... just keep on shootin' it.
