Cm9093 vs pm9093

I requested some product literature from Kahr on the new CM9 and they sent the following to me:

I think this is a pretty good reference chart to compare the two and thought somebody else might be interested in seeing it. The retail price difference is $220 and in my area (Michigan) I can get a NIB PM9 for $649 but no one has been able to quote a price for the CM9 much less find one to sell. Currently I have a Ruger LCP (.380) but would like to upgrade to a 9MM and the CM9 looks like it fits the bill. I suppose the price for the CM9 should be in the range of $425 and to me that sounds like something I would go for.

And most importantly, it's made in the USA!!!!

I suspect they are in catch up mode being new and all. They literally flew off the shelves when they first got shipped. I'd say it's worth waiting for if your in the market for a first class 9 in the compact size.

I have yet to see any in my area either but haven't really hunted very hard either.

Searching on line might find ya one a little sooner.

VietVet68, good move in replacing your LCP with the CM9. I replaced my LCP with the PM9, I'm thinking 6+1 of 9mm is better than 6+1 of 380. I carry my PM9 in a Uncle Mike's #3 pocket holster. Good luck when you get you CM9 if it's anything like my PM9 you will love it. All my Kahr's have been 100% reliable out of the box.
