So... Im on my next kahr journey and am starting the search of a pm45. I have never fired or handled one before. But i do own the pm9 p380 mk9 and cw 40. Havent had problems with any of them. I was hoping to get the opinions of ppl who own/shot the pm45 and whAt is the average price on them? I bought my pm9 for about 650 nib.
Thanks

I got mine for 660 a year ago or so. The stainless version with standard sights. You can check Bud's or browse around Gunbroker to get a pretty good idea.
I love mine alot and it's always with me. Never leave home without it.

Bawanna- how is the recoil? I had a chance to get the pm40 but it seems to have the worst reviews of all the models. But the pm45 is a little bigger so ive heard its not as bad

It's not bad at all. Most people that have shot mine were suprised it was a 45.
If you get along with your CW40 you'll have no issues with the PM45 at all.

I agree with The Mighty Bwanna's recoil assesment.
I bought mine in the summer of '09. It took some work to get it to function correctly, but it was well worth it, at least to me.
A .45 the size of a PPK? Yea, I'm in love. Wearing mine right now actually.

If you have a moderately strong grip; you should have no problems with PM45 recoil.
I'm a geezer with arthritic hands and have no problem shooting my PM45.
Love mine for its size, weight, punch. The recoil is a non issue. Maybe if you were shooting 45+P it might be, but not on standard rounds.
Part of the felt recoil of an automatic is the parts of the gun themselves. For instance - if you took the .45acp and fired it in a revolver, its a lil'ol pussycat. No reciprocating slide! So yes, some extra recoil due to light weight, but also, the slide is light... so its not like ya think.

My PM45 has (shh - don't tell her) replaced my beloved Sig 245 for summer carry.
A little over 20 oz. WOW!
Recoil is suprisingly mild. It is not a gun where I will shoot 100 rounds at a time...
I am truly a pretty new Kahr fan!

u can always port it.
just ran my initial 200 rounds through mine yesterday... I love it zero problems not much recoil for a 45 that small. I would highly recomend it.... My Sig went bye bye for it
