Ordered a PM9 with night sights today........should be in Thursday or Friday. Cant wait to do the pre-shooting break-in and get it to the range. It will be replacing my Keltec P3AT as my primary carry weapon.

Congratulations on your purchase SCNick, I'm sure time will seem to pass very slowly until your weapon arrives, I know mine did. I went a little bigger, first with the CW40, then with the CW45. Long story about how that happened, but I sure enjoy them both.
I fitted a Crimson Trace Laser to my .45 as it will become my Every Day Carry (EDC) once I've put a few more rounds through it. There is $50 rebate on the laser right now. I should have had Kahr add night sights too when I had to send it back.
Can't belive no one has mentioned to look down in Kahr-Tech sections to have a look at Jocko's stickies about prepping the gun and the lube chart. My CW40 shot fine right out of the box, before I knew about the forum, but I did the prep and lube when the .45 came in. Unfortunately, it had problems beyond my limited knowledge to repair.
Jocko is the man to get to know regarding the PM9 he has over 30K rounds through his He really knows his stuff about Kahrs. But there are many other knowledgable people here that are willing to help out with any problem or question you might have.

thanks for the nice compliment. seriously I learned alot from this forum more than any other kahr forum I have ever been on. With this jforum people do try to really help, smetimes in vain but that is not the point. On some of the other fourms that I used to be on it was not like that at all. alot of cirticism to the gun owners and I seen alotof bickerting between knowledeable people , I guess fighting for respectability over one another. Just not that way on this forum. I guess thats why I am still here to. other than Bawanna's threats to me if I ever leave, he would hunt me down. Now I don't know how u guys feel about that but if u ever seen wheel chair tracks in the woods, it is a freightening thing..

If you go with a Crimson, make sure you decide on that before ordering a holster, you will save yourself a lot of cash.

Do yourself a favor and check out Alabama holsters. You have to wait but they the one of the best Kydex holsters out there and they make one for the PM9 with the CT laser. I know because I have one. Welcome and enjoy!

Welcome to Kahr Talk, SCNick! There are a lot of good holster reviews in the holster section of the forum.

Welcome aboard SCNick!
I think it is about 2 weeks now that I've been carrying (pocket) my new PM9. :) My P3AT and Glock 26, except for some dry firing practice, have not seen the light of day. :(

You`re going to love that PM9.If you want a really good IWB holster, many of us use the Crossbreed minituck for our PM9s.I get all my IWB holsters in horsehide because of the heat in the Carolinas and possible perspiration problems that may arise from them.Keep us in the loop about your new handgun. We`re glad you`re here.
