I got to take My new CM9 out and shoot it for the first time a few days ago. The weather was not ideal, it was about 45 degrees and 15-20 mph winds.

I did not do any special prep like racking it, cleaning, ect. I just put some gun grease on the high friction area's, the same as I would do after cleaning.

I shot 200 rounds of factory ammo, WWB, Fiocchi, RWS, Blazer Brass, FMJ's and 3 different kinds of JHP ammo, Rem UMC, Fioochi & 2 mags of Speer Gold Dots, the gold dots barked the loudest. Used 6 and 7 round mags.

All the ammo functioned perfectly, I did not have any failures of any type.

The gun shot good point of aim, at 10 yards, But I was shooting to the left of center, probably me pulling them to the left because of the DAO trigger. The brass all ejected nicely off to the right and back 4-6 feet away. Recoil was very mild for the size and weight, overall it shot very simular to the way my CW9 shot.

The trigger did seem a bit heavier than my CW9 especially the first 50-100 rounds. I was really surprised at how much smoother the trigger got after 200 rounds. At first the trigger had a hard spot just before it broke.

The only issue I had was, after taking it apart for the first time to lube it, I could not get the slide back on at first....the free end of the recoil spring got stuck between the end of the guide rod and the hole it passes through.

Just like McDonald's I'm Lovin it.
