CW45 Back from Repair #2

Good Afternoon Guys,

Well my CW45 is back in my hands today from repair#2 since purchase on April 7,2011.

First Service at factory: Replaced Slide Stop Spring, Mag Catch, Recoil Spring & Polished barrel

When I got it back I went to range and attempted to shoot down range, On the 4th mag the pistol would shoot first round and after no bang no click and multiple stovepipes.

Second Trip to Factory: Polished feed ramp, Replaced Trigger Bar, Extractor, Follower and they installed Night Sights for me.

Once I get back from testing down range I will Post a range report and pictures if it work with my carry package.

I too wait with great anticipation for an excellent report. Maybe the temporary Kahr Kurse will go away! Mine (CW45) went back Wednesday. Jay signed for it Thursday (delivered) and now the "antsy" waiting period begins. Feeling a little naked without a carry back up - I guess that would be a situation for Dear Dietrich - oops!

I had some issues with my CW45 too, have it back and shot 60 rds without a problem. Still I want ot run about 250 rds more before putting it back as my main ccw. I like the CW45 a lot and want to try everything I can so I can get it back 100%.

On the other hand the CM9 has been perfect in the firsts 250 rds and very hard not to like:)

Wow!!!! Range session was awesome , I even had a crowd approach me asking me what type of gun was that, shot 50 rounds of federal & 50 ofWinchester acp , no stovepipes at all nice strikes. Shot 12 rounds of corbon hollow points without any issue.

10 day turnaround , jay was very nice and he reacts well to emails. Night sight installation by them looks and feels good also. Make sure to write everything down with every issue you have & attach it to the pistol when sending back to them. Make sure to clean & prep when you get it back from them per Jocko prep and lube thread on Kahrtalk.com, buy a crap load of rounds and have fun. There were hardly any primer smears , it's like night and day really with this pistol.

UPdate #2 Range Sessions#2 since second trip back from repair and I shot 150 rounds of Walmart Federal champion 45 ammo with no issues, Flawless shooting. No stovepipes or issues. With over 250 rounds of flawless shooting since it's second trip back from Kahr factory I can now say this CW45 is a reliable conceal carry!

Great news edinero. I'm glad they got it right this time, sorry you had to send it in twice. But in the end it sounds like you have a good reliable .45 now. Super!
