Just curious if there are any pictures of this combo? I think it would look pretty sweet myself.

I could Photoshop it easy enough, but wanted to know if anyone else though about doing this or has done it.

Wouldn't it look like a PM9094 (PM9 Black)?

No, because it would have the silver trigger and slide release at a minimum...

The slide release would be easy. Order a stainless one or just polish and reshape the one you have, I think its stainless under the black.

The trigger would be more challenging. It's probably stainless underneath too but getting to it in place or removing it to polish it would be huge task.

Thought I had saw a picture of one before.

I agree. Like Irish Spring, made for a man, but I like it too! Did I just slam myself? Oh well it happens.

I'd get the mag release polished or plated to complete the effect. I like shiney stuff.

I was thinking that too (mag release), and yes - you did kinda slam yourself lol.

don't take the kahr triggers out, u might just regret it for such little to be gained. Kahr has some special tools to get everything in alignment we don't and u just might fokk up a good gun for such little damn gain.

I just want a black slide lol... I want my other shiny parts to stay shiny.

why not just send ur slide to a place lke robar and get it done nicely, u know your slide works OK a new slide might be another thing..

True... never thought about it I guess, the idea just popped into my head when I saw the black slides on the Kahr site for sale - how much is it to get one refinished vs buying a new one?

not sure but a robar refinished slide is IMO much nicer than the kahr finish, by a wide margin. dial up Robar.com..

Robar Slide = 190.00

New Kahr PM9 Black Slide = 145.00

That might be one reason.

Just remember that if you get a slide you will need to install all the internals and sights. Unless you can do that yourself, you'll have to figure that into the equation.

You might consider Birdsongs Black T finish. I just went to their site and they don't list prices. One of the guys here just had his Reminton 700 done and it turned out beautiful. I seem to recall that it was very reasonable, like around a 100 bucks for a complete rifle. A slide alone would have to be cheap.
Also has a green finish too but I hate green so I don't know why I even mention that unless of course you like green in which case you'll be happy I mentioned it and that just would make my day.

APW COGAN. COM does outstanding work, his prices are listed as is his finishs.

There are labor costs from Robar also, for disassembly, cleaning and degreasing AND function checking after the coating is applied. No free rides there either.

Oh well, was worth checking into - didn't really realize the slide wouldn't be a complete assembly.

No its just the slide, but assembly is easy except for sights.
I bet you could send your existing slide to Kahr and ask them to purchase w new black slide and install the sights for you. 145 + 25 + 40 = 210 total shipped back to you in days, not weeks like getting the slide/barrel refinished.

Has anyone done a black slide for their CM9 yet?

I'm thinking about sending it out and just getting the slide coated. would keep the barrel and other shiny parts shiny

it sure would look cool IMO, do the slide stop also and the magazine to blend in with the black lower portion.

Leave the bbl, and hood shiney. That would look sweet with all the other accents shiney too. I'd like to see one.
