Help please? Somewhere in here, I remember a thread about some modifications made to a PM9 with a dremel tool.

The owner gently carved away some of the corners and protrusions, softening the slide release and creating a recess for it, rounding the leading corners of the slide, a few small things here and there that kind of 'streamlined' the gun.

Anyone help me find that thread? Any and all help is appreciated.

Thanks bwanna, I appreciate the response. Those are both great threads.

The one I was looking for showed some effort to reduce the length of the slide stop, which required also creating a recess on the right side of the gun so the slide stop could still be pushed out when dismantling the little puppy. There were a few other minor touch ups as well.

I'll keep looking, but I'm not having the same good fortune with the searches as you are.

Thanks Bwanna, I appreciate the help. I thought it was Jocko's but I still need to do some work on getting the search to work better for me. I can get a lot of results, but I might as well be looking through the entire database!

hell I have beenon here since day one and I still don't use the search thing, never worked good for me, normaly if u do what you did and just ask, someoner will post it uip for you. The great one Bawanna has a handle on everything on this forum, he is the man to go to, along with GB6491. last resort ask me!!!!

I'd agree with the GB thing but far as me having a handle on things, that's a pretty long stretch and you better have hip boots on.

I fall into the blind hog gets an occasional acorn plan.

I know I'll think of something that I've seen here and try to find it often times without success.

What really bothers me is when I get members mixed up, be talking about one thing to somebody and then carry on talking to another who has no clue what I'm talking about. Actually that happens alot huh? Must just be me.

I've tried keeping notes when I talk grips and stuff with people and sometimes even my notes confuse me.
