LGS got one in unexpectedly today. I snapped it up $431. Then ordered two more mags from TGS.

Placed my order with Bud's over the weekend, and the CM9 is supposed to be here tomorrow! Gotta admit that I am pretty excited. I have a PM40 that is very accurate but fairly hard to handle - I am getting better with it, but I think the 9mm is going to be terrific.

I think you'll find the 9 a good bit more enjoyable to shoot a bunch...
I have a CW9 and a CW40 and though I don't find the CW40 to be that bad, the CW9 is certainly more pleasant to shoot a box through.

I'm going to buy a CM9 but want to wait for a few months until the initial production runs hit the market. Soon after that, the Kahr dealers will get feedback from users about any deficiencies in the gun, Kahr will fix those issues and then I'll feel comfortable enough to carry one.
I've been told that many of the CM9 components come directly from the PM9 so it shouldn't take long for people doing the final assembly to get comfortable with the process. It's like buying a new model year car that's just a less expensive model of the current model. Although, in the car business is the opposite. The first model year of a newly designed car is refined during each of the following model years for the full life cycle of the car, 4-5 years. Each year they make a few very visual changes to a model so they can be distinguished from last years model and raise the price accordingly.

Not me. I'm going to enjoy my CM9 starting from this morning's first 50 perfectly actuated shots. I have a PM40 already and like it even though it is a handful. Both are neat little pistols. Now if my Ruger SR1911 will get here...I'll have both ends of the spectrum covered.

negative posts of cm9 issues on this forum or over on the elsei pea forum. I wouldn't wait to buy one because of any "beta" testing that one thinks needs to be done on most new guns as this cm9 is just a twin to the proven PM9, all internals, all the bottom frame are exactly the same. Prices seem to be around $420 delivered which IMO is a total steel. nothing like it in its class.
Don;'/t be leary of the cm9..To me a good comparison is buying a new proven car that you know is good, and now they come out with a new exact model only now no radio in it and no spare tire. neither will effect the reliability of the kahr. cm9 and PM9 works trhe same way..

I just picked up a CM9 today. Haven't had a chance to get it to the range yet.
I'm well aware of problems gun makers run into when starting a new model but I think the CM9 is just a variation of a successful line of guns, like a 1911 maker coming out with a different variation. That's what I'm hoping for anyway. ;)

I looked at a CM9 for $425 today and the magazine would not come out by pushing the mag release. I had to fiddle with it to make it work. A few days ago I looked at a CM9 in a different gun shop and the magazine button worked fine, they wanted $500 for that one. I'd hate to have to pay an extra $75 plus 9.3% tax to get the better CM. I plan to get one in a couple weeks. Maybe that one will get sold and they will get some more in at $425.
