New additions-P380 & S&W 3914 DAO

Welcomed home by older siblings Glock 19, Ruger SPNY 101 and MK9.

These 2 should sandwich the MK9 nicely for different carry scenarios.

The P380 is RC serial numbered. Hoping they worked out most of the bugs and that it doesnt give me fits like the MK9 did. Will get to the range soon to give a report.

Look at the stamp on the Smith. The dealer told me they moved their manufacturing plant. They do a small production run on these pistols every few years and he seems to think they may stop soon to focus more on the MP series which may LEOs are using.

How's the DAO trigger on the 3914? I'm very fond of the 3rd gen S&W's and bought a 4043 a while ago, and really liked the gun except for the trigger. I guess I replaced it with the CW40. I can't say anything bad about the DA/SA CS45 and 457S I was lucky enough to find brand new a few months ago though.

Havent been to the range with it yet but if Im not mistaken, it has a 10lb tigger with 1/2 inch pull. I'm looking forward to doing a side by side comparison. It was a toss up between the Smith and the K9 but I went with the Smith just in case they dont make anymore. The local shops have already sold out their small allotments. Now i have to resist the urge to go out and get the K9.
