Absolutely a show piece, bought this small new CM9 brand new a couple weeks ago, completely disassembled it and had all stainless parts professionally polished. This is not a polish job with car mag wheel polish and a rag, all parts were sanded and buffed smooth with graduating compounds, smoothed and machined polished to an absolute mirror finish. Entire slide and rear plate, barrel, trigger removed and polished, Slide pin assemble smoothed and polished, magazine taken apart and all parts polished..... Incredible piece to look at, also includes 6 polished jacketed hollow point self defense rounds to match! Brand new, in original packaging with all original pieces parts. This gun and this polish job would cost over $650 to duplicate. Will sell for $525 cash. Have a carry gun you are proud of. Have more pics if you are serious. Willing to ship from local FFL at your expense. Basically, you are buying a brand new hard to find CM9 and only paying $50-$75 for a pro polishing job......

$525 FIRM face to face or will ship from local FFL at your expense.

Nice for you jfootin, I got lost in translation on this one. I knew it was for sale at the beginning but didn't compute that you bought it, own it and it's yours to call your very own.

Happy new gun to you. She's a beauty.

Now what kind of cookies are we talking about here?

That looks awesome! Would love to do that to my magazines I bet they drop out clean!

Magazines are pretty easy. I just started with like 400, then 600 and then hit em with a polishing wheel. Makes em look real pretty and they are smooth. I did my K40 mags and my PM45. Doesn't take much to get rid of the matte finish and you get a polished look pretty quickly.
I tried to polish my PM45 but it was much more challenging. I got it smooth and pretty shiney but not near mirror polished. Good enough to please me and something I can carry on later if I feel the need.

Not to take anything away from the pros. Those guys know what they are doing and do it very well. The guy that did this one sure did a sweet job on it.

Absolutely stunning!

Thank you! (from the proud new owner :D)

Check out the photobucket slide show in my braggin' post:

I have added a QWIK-GRIP sleeve to the grip, size 3A. It really adds to the comfortable feel of the grip. And it fits perfectly parallel to the bottom edge of the grip, right where it starts to taper in. I ordered a 5 lb striker spring, and I am on a waiting list for a beautiful tuckable IWB holster from H.B.E. Specialty Leatherworks (http://www.hbeleatherworks.com/)—the Pro TL IWB Tuckable (click the IWB Tuckable link and the Customer Pictures link on the main page to see some pictures of it).

Alas, I need to get a better camera and a tripod so I can take some pictures of my enhancements that are anywhere near as good as those I got of the gun from the original owner.

That sure is a fine looking CM9 JFootin. Do you have any idea what the cost of a polish job like that would be?

Didn't I already reply to you about this? Ahlman's said it would be $150-200 to do it to a J-frame.
