Some of you may remember me from last year. Especially jocko and Bawana who helped me quite a bit. I got frustrated with my P9 last year because the trigger would fail to reset while firing but only after loading up 7+1...It never gave me a problem when just putting in a magazine of 7 and began firing. Sent it back to the Mothership, they replaced the trigger bar, yet the same problem persisted. In frustration, I sold it.

The many good points about Kahr have brought me back again, especially with the introduction of the CM9. I realize I'd rather have the more concealable pistol and at this price point, I'll give Kahr another shot. And besides, 6 rounds plus another magazine in the left pocket oughta do it. I really don't need 6+1. All the other great attributes are still there--light weight, small size, thin, nice trigger, etc...

Question please- Despite the CM9 having the staked sights, will I still be able to put at least a front night sight on?

BTW, I'm RogerCM9er now. :D

Glad your back dude. These CM's have nothing but glowing reports. Let us know how things progress. They seem to be so good I'm considering one for myself, I'm not sure why. I think it's maybe just another feeble attempt to get on Jocko's good side. He hates me for my love of fat bullets.

Thanks bud, glad to be back. Speaking of which, any idea when or if the CM45 will be released? I'm permanently stuck in the fast small bullet vs. the slow big bullet debate, so I figure what the h**, get both. :D

Just a prediction and no idea when it will come to pass but I forsee a CM45 in the future. I suspect it won't be this year but someday.

Well, I know it's a little bigger, but how about the CW45? They have a good track record? Does anyone know if I can get flush fitting magazine baseplates for the CW45? I see the ones for the 9mm/.40S&W on the Kahr website but nothing for the .45ACP mags???

Welcome back, RogerCM9Fan - it's been too long! We jumped in right about the same time. Here's to hoping the CM9 treats you right and becomes a constant companion. Lots of great reports on the CM9, not many negative at all - most of the negative have been self inflicted from my reading.

No flush metal base plates for the .45s, but some have been trying to find alternative magazines... including me. Still working on that.

And welcome back!

Likewise my friend. I've seen some postings of yours in other threads and look forward to conversing with you as I try to familiarize myself again to these cool pistols. Looks like it's true....just can't stay away from Kahr, it's got too many good things going for it. Try try again....

Thanks Wynn! Glad to be back buddy.....yeah, I saw the huge thread over in the P and CW Pistols Forum.......WOW, seems like the Wilson Officers magazines might do the trick with a little bit of alteration??? I'll be trying to learn more as I decided to go ahead and order a CW45 in addition to the CM9...I'm coming back strong :D It's true, once you caught the Kahr bug, you got it.

I love my Kahrs and would like more, but I've also been bitten by the 1911 bug... centennial and all. I might have to give AO a look, as well as the new Ruger. I DO love .45s.
Those CW45's seem to be super guns, so you'll like one of those.

Yeah, seems like every CW45 owner has nothing but good things to say and like you, I like that big 'ol .45 slug. Can't wait to get my slim CW45 and would like to make it even more concealable by finding a good alternative magazine with the flush baseplate.....one that works everytime. Although, I'll admit, the alterations (filing, sanding, Dremel) get me nervous as I wouldn't know what I'm doing.
