I'm new to this site so I thought I'd introduce myself a little. I frequent The Firing Line forum, came here researching a little work I wanna do to my CW9 (the "covert" conversion).

I've owned a couple Kahrs years and recently lost my K9 to the fiancee when I took her shooting and she fell in love with it. So being the nice guy I am I dura-coated it pink and black just to make it all hers and bought myself a CW9 to play it (I've wanted one for a while, now I got a good excuse to get it ;)).

I've already learned alot from reading on here and look forward to learning more! :)

Here's our his & hers:

Please throw that can of "pink" away, I have a friend here that loves to make grips and finish them in ti-ty pink. He could really make ur gals K9 dance to a special tune.

I think he is still my friend!!!! He has not made fun of me in ages, so I am wondering if his health is failing even!!!!

My wife fell in love with one of the pink 38's out there and I was considering buying her one for her birthday.

I guess I could just Duracoat my K9 and give it to her?

I really like the K9, but it does get carried because I love my MK9 more.

It's an idea, that I'm not sure I love...yet.

Jocko, give him time, he'll be giving you a hard time again. Remember, his wife has him planning their daughter's wedding right now.. His mind is other places.

I love the pink frame but don't know that I would want it on ALL my guns. Eventually I'll have at least one frame gun that is pink, but I think I'll stick to my place or stainless steel frame ones for now. Maybe I'll Bawana to make me a set of pink ones when I get something else.

Hey hoytinak! Welcome to the forum! Personally, I just can't do pastels like that, but if that is what it takes to get a wife/gf to shoot or carry, I'm all for it. :)

Maybe we'll get her one too and have another couple on the forum besides jlottmc and I.
