Hi all,
I just thought i would post up a couple of pictures and report back on how my brand new CW9 performed at the range this afternoon....
First off, further to my first post regarding the break in schedule, i followed Jocko's cleaning to a 'T' and had the gun all ready to go. I used the dechlorinated brake cleaner followed by Tetra gun oil... and proceeded to manually rack the slide 3-400 times.
Then it was time to hit the range! ;)
Here is the first 40 rounds at 10-12 yards, modified weaver stance... Sellier & Belliot 9mm ammo:

I then started to play around with distance as well as quick follow up shots etc... just wanted to see what the point of aim was and how it handled the ammo:
Second set of rounds.... 15+yards... 9mm S & B ammo:

And finally i decided to do some one handed (Right and left) to see how it felt recoil wise, i also decided to do some 20+yard shooting to see how the sights out of the box worked with my own technique:

The accuracy out of the box was very good to be honest, the sights are a little different than i am used to but they were useful. The gun was easy to handle and the recoil was good i.e. not excessive, considering the gun is so slight in nature!
I fired off 150 rounds of Sellier & Belliot 9mm ammo with zero ftf, zero fte and no magazine issues. The slide release was smooth and the magazine felt secure but smooth also on both release and insertion. All in all a very good range visit and reinforced my decision to purchase the CW9 as my EDC! No doubt in no small thanks to the very detailed and impressive 'prep' per Jocko....
