I messed up: Kahr slide stuck, pin inserted incorrectly

I have an issue guys...

I field stripped my Kahr and wasn't paying attention when I was putting it back together.

I put the pin in so the slide is locked backwards... and i can't seem to get the damn thing out.... I don't know what to do!

take a wooden down andon the right side of the frame where the pin protrudes, put the dowel on the pin and hit the dowel with a hammer and it will come out. what u did was you got the sldie lock pin in front of the barrel lug, instead of through it. It will come out this way,

Me too, it was a pain to get back out...

I couldn't get the damn thing up and rather than scrape the finish off my gun any further, I brought her to the gunsmith. Expensive problem - he charged $40.

In the future, I'll learn not to pay more attention to putting her back together.
