Is Miss Kitty still with us? I will always remember Gunsmoke and presence James Arness had on that little screen we watched as kids. Walk with God Marshall Matt Dillon.

Amanda Blake (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amanda_Blake), (Miss Kitty) passed away in 1989. I also grew up with Matt Dillion and Gunsmoke. I believe it was simpler times back then. James Arness was a lot better role model than most of the TV stars today.

God Bless

Yes,he did have quite a presence. If there was one thing you didn`t want to do it was to get Ol` Matt pissed off.If you were lucky enough not to get shot he would only beat the crap out of you.He didn`t put up with a lot of guff from anybody.Right was right and wrong would get you a six foot seven inch problem you had to deal with. When he spoke, you`d better be listening.Great television show.

Ah, yes the good 'ol days, when honesty, and integrity meant something. But not now, at least in government,......I refer you to that degenerate little weasel, congressman Weiner , what a piece of work,..talk about arrogance.....I hope New Yorkers demand he resign !

Weiner, now that's an appropriate name if there ever was one.

Oh, and Marshall Dillon was one of my biggest heroes! Don't make em like that anymore.

Imagine if all of this dirt would have came out about vice-President John Edwards (or even President by now) if Kerry wouldn't have been such a flop-flipper and if the vets didn't come out so vocally against him?

I remember sitting on and watching it with my dad. He always loved westerns and never missed a chance to watch Gunsmoke, Clint Eastwood or any western.

Just an interesting fact...the guy that many so fondly know as Lyle in Blazing Saddles lives here in Allen, TX, which is about 10 minutes from where we live in TX, in DFW. He did the PACE Picante Sauce commercials and does a few commercials for Ford dealerships here in the area.
