Also ordered it thru Buds online for $419. Had it shipped to Vandalia Tactical where I picked it up yesterday. I bought a pocket holster and some ammo from Vandalia Tactical to give them some business as well.

Put 50 rounds of Federal 115 gr FMJ thru it plus racked the slide manually for a while. I had 2 FTF's, (2nd round each time). Not sure what is going on with that.

After shooting I broke it down, cleaned and lubed it.

Kind of a funny thing, in trying to remove the slide pin I was following the instructions for the K series and not the PM series. (duh) Couldn't get that pin out for nothing. Went to youtube and saw a video showing the index mark on the PM series and viola. It worked.

It doesn't shoot as fun as my Glock 19 but I got it for my conceal carry piece and not a range gun. I notice that it has more pop than my G19 but the weight of the CM9 brings it right back down quickly after each round so no biggie.

I fell in love with the trigger and the size and that is what sold me on the CM9. I would recommend it to anyone with medium sized hands. If you have big paws you might not like it.

A note about Buds online, if you use cash (electronic check) it takes a full 4 business days just to clear both banks and thus ship. Next time I will just use the credit card and pay the higher price so I can get it shipped sooner.

Now if Miami county would just call on my carry permit things would be great.

Welcome to Kahrtalk!

Congrats on your new CM9. I wouldn't at this point worry about those two failures. Put another 150 rounds through the gun and see how she does.

Thank you for the review.....it is always best to follow the correct instructions....LOL ...it works best that way. I would not worry either about the 2 FTF unless you have it in 200 more rounds.

I would have cleaned it before I took it to therange but thats me. That might have helped get the FTF's eliminated also. More pop then a G19......I guess size does matter. have fun enjoy the weapon. Good luck on getting your permit

It might help if u read the manuall fully, there are some kahr do's and some kahr don't. also if you will go to the kahr tech section kanbd hit on two great stickly's it will help u alot.

#1 LKahr lube chart

#2 propper prepping of ur new kahr.

if this second round thing doesnt correct itself in another 150 rounds indeed go to the propper prepping thread and scroll on down and it will give u some pointers on whart tolook for and how to correct it.

It ain't a glock for accuracy due to its much safer IMO trigger system, but also ur glock is not a kahr as concealibility is fully pocketable with the cm9. great gun, IMO one of the best out there..
