Wow, I'm sorry to read that after they replaced so many parts when it was back for repair. Just a thought here, do you have more than the single magazine it came with? If not, does it look like the slide might be hitting the magazine at any time during a cycle?

Greg

personally ammo is not the issue, something is definitely wrong with yhour gun. Kahrs are not ammo sensitive..

So Sad that its take two trips for a CW45 To get back to its owner in working order but that's what it looks like... It took my CW45 Two trips and my persistent ass emailing jay on status updates.. Phooey I hope it would only take one trip to home base but In my heart I knew it would take two just like mine... Don't worry brother it will be back soon! Dont be afraid to get on KAHR'S ASS! If they don't make it right this trip I hear they will have to replace the entire pistol if it has to come back for a Third trip to them! at least you know the procedures.

Yes - I was using 3 other Kahr magazines (bought a three pack from Cabelas). I tried to see if the slide lock and mag were having a fight but couldn't see well enough in the dim light of the range. After I inserted mag, shot and then tried to eject mag, I did notice that it was "tighter" or took more pressure to release than what it did last time. I am by no means an expert or a gunsmith but I have been shooting for quite awhile and am usually pretty well consistent with other pistols (1911 Kimber Pro Carry, M&P 9c and 40 S&W, SA XD 40 sc and XD45acp) so that is what is stumping me and others.
I appreciate the feedback!:biggrin1:
Thanks for for the update. I asked about the magazine, becuase you had written in another thread that they had replaced the mag catch. If it's one that they machined the shelf on this will usually fix mag drops (though not always). That made me think that perhaps you had an out of spec mag and the slide was hitting it hard enough to dislodge it. I didn't see anything about them replacing the extractor in you other thread. I know that the extractor in my CW45 can hit factory mags if I push up on the magazine when cycling the slide. I believe it hasn't caused an issue because my hold doesn't really push on the magazine, even when pushing on the mag the contact is fairly light, the magazine can move a slight amount out of the way, and the extractor can move as well. I wonder if something in that area could be affecting your gun. An out of spec or binding extractor might be hitting the mag hard enough to force it out; likewise it could cause feeding and ejection problems. Anyway, that's just some thoughts I had.
I hope Kahr does good by you getting it up and running in short order.
Regards,
Greg.
