I am just about to sell my P9 because the extra mags keep losing the rounds. I check the mag and most of the rounds have come out into the bottom of the mag holder, all four of my mags lose the rounds. I am tired of this.
Who has the cure,

Someone had filed a slight notch in the mag lip where the rim of the brass sits. They reported this fixing the problem.

I recall someone I thought it was Old Lincoln but can't be sure took pliers and slightly tweaked the feed lips down a bit in the front and was successful.
I know getting a mag pouch that is angled at the bottom prevents the lost rounds as well but one should be able to carry a lose magazine in a pocket without ending up with a pocket full of cartridges.
I tried to search and find that thread but came up empty so far.

Thanks, I reckon I will study on filing and tweaking a mag and see what happens.

Hope it works and you don't ruin a mag... then again, doesn't sound like you've got much to lose. (other than some more cartridges) :)

Although I haven't tested it extensively, I've not experienced a loose round in my mag pouch since I modified the followers of my CW9's magazines to facilitate chambering the first round.

Your P9 is not at fault for your mags loosing rounds so please don't sell it for that. I had issues with my mags and discussed it ad nausium in a thread: Lets Get to the Bottom of Kahr Magazine Questions! (http://kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=2415)
I have to add that my solution may be a bit controversial and may not work for you. It did work for me, buy I tend to mess with things that aren't broke until they are. So be cautious should you take this on.

hmmm...don't have my cm9 yet so i don't want to mess with the mag just yet, but since i bought a spare mag already, i will load it up and carry it around in my pocket and see what happens.

I just checked my cw40 mag and I dont have nearly the gap indicated in the linked post pics, its not tight but side to side movement is very minimal. I would think the caliper shouldnt matter and I dont have any feed problems with mine. I should be getting my spare mags today so I will check them to see if rounds fit the same as the one that came with my gun and carry a in my pocket a while to see if I lose rounds. I can remember as a kid watching my father modify mags by tightening the opening up and his guns always fed without any problems.

I have single mag holders (pocket models, for PM9, MK9 and P380) from Hidden Holsters and from Bear Creek Holsters; both are angled to maintain the position of the top-most round and neither have allowed a round to come loose:

Both are well-made products from good businessmen; Bear Creek ships faster though.

I have a Cobre Tuffskin mag pouch that does not strip rounds. I'm not sure the current production is the same style though. The bottom corners are open... maybe that helps?

If you pocket carry your spare mag I may have a cure for you.
I am going to be making some leather pocket magazine holders. I have been using a prototype front mag holder/holster for a while now, and it work's great for me. I now have more leather and have been thinking about offering them to members here to prevent exactly what you are experiencing. Mine are wet molded exactly to a loaded 9mm Kahr mag so there is no room for movement so no loose rds. I also made it to keep the mag in the same position in the pocket for easy gripping. And to have a easy draw that keeps the holster in the pocket.
I don't have any more made for sale yet, I do have couple other ideas for front and rear pocket mag carriers, and all will be perfectly molded to a loaded 9mm mag.
If there is interest from the forum in these let me know. I will be making a few and posting pics of them for you to check out soon.

I might be interested.
I have the same issue.
Pull my mags out and they're missing a round, whether in my pocket, a leather or nylon mag holder. Tried several, all do the same thing.
Only magazines I have that it does it on.
None of my other mags for my other tools has these issues.
Doesn't bother me much, but would like a fix for it other than modifying the mags and possibly damaging one.

Thanks, maybe I will try a better mag holder.
