I am not sure how to ask this, so bear with me.
I have a PM9.
What other Kahr guns use the same parts?
What other Kahr parts are not the same, but would work with my gun?
I believe all the mags are the same except for capacity.
Can I drop in a TP9 barrel for a little length?
Or swap slides with a CM9?

From what I can tell.... many of the parts are interchangeable. Things like mag release, its spring, striker parts and spring, rear slide plate, slide stop, slide stop spring on all polymer pistols, cam, trigger bar, trigger and spring, extractor and parts, ejector maybe... all that seems to be interchangeable. Some slides will accept longer model barrels.

Probably, on the barrel. The CM9 on a PM9? Yes, but why?

The why on the barrel is simple, I want to run a suppressor and I don't like the sleeve.

The other parts.....it is not that big of deal at this point, but it is always nice to know what can be done when something breaks. (Or you are at a gun show and see something strange.)

That part I can see.... but why the slide swap? They're pretty much the same on a CM and PM - except for decorative stuff.

6s, 7s, 8s, in a PM9
I took my PM9 out to the range the other day and I learned something about my new mags. 6 round mags, 7 round mags, and 8 round mags will all fit and function in a PM9. The 6 was no issue. The 7s were no issue. The 8s had an issue. I sling shot the slide. I don’t use the mag stop/release. With the PM9, I had issues when sling shooting. A mag would feed fine if I used the slide release/stop, but if I sling shotted I had FTF. Most of the time the bullet would not leave the mag. I think I needed just a little more force.

I was using wolf ammo. The gun has shot less than 100 rounds so far so this issue may go away with breakin. It is not that big of deal to me. I will continue to make updates on this thread as I work through the issue.

I wouldn't worry to juch about the 8 rounder one way or the other. ur really not gonna carry it and for range use, just accept it. that is alot of magazine stickhng out the bottom of the mag well.

If the 6 rounders workperfectly that is what matter. This is a ccw gun, if u want a bigger capacity, the cw or P series would have woked nicer, IMO.

Well I purchased the 8s for a couple reasons.
#1. was range use. I hate reloading mags at the range while I am paying for my time.
#2. was as a secondary carry mag. The difference between carrying a 6,7,8 is not much but..
#3. was just to try it out. The experimenter in me wanted to know.
