Got my cast off yesterday:cheer2: and looks like my new and improved wrist will prefer IWB cross draw. Fusion is only 20% healed so far, so still many weeks, probably months before I can actually shoot. Plenty of time to ponder and shop.
Recommendations?

Sorry if I am asking about painful details . . . but, if your strong hand wrist is undergoing repairs, is your weak side OK for shooting?
If so, it might make sense to work on your weak side accuracy and shooting skills. Just a thought. Apologies for being a "butinski".

I find myself thinking you might want to pack a revolver for awhile. Slide racking etc can't be good for your healing wrist either regardless of what hand you shoot with.
If nothing else it will be a good lesson and no doubt give you insight to how much it sucks to be left handed. Has to be a curse for evil doings in a previous life. I can't think of any other explanation.
I told my son this weekend that he needs to spend a week in a chair full time wearing ear plugs and ear muffs with everyone whispering. Same theory only sucks even worse. Definitely a curse for evil doings in a previous life without doubt.

Mighty Mouse, check out Melissa's just now posted GP100. Might be an excellent temporary left hand carry gun. Plenty of recoil soaking weight to aid the weak hand shooting.
Plus if you buy it quick like I won't think about how nice it would look as a queen in my safe and that would be a good thing too.

I wish I had the scratch in hand to snatch that one. I don't know that she needs to get rid of it either.
As one who had TONS of shoulder problems (weak side thankfully), 1) you'd be amazed at what you learn to do with one hand 2) shooting one handed isn't that bad or foreign 3) things like that make you much more creative, and it stays with you after things have healed. Learn new stuff and then get to it.

butinskis OK, no apologies needed... I injured both wrists 6 years ago, right worse than left, really tore up ligaments causing wrist joints to collapse, and eventually contact arm bones.
Both side hurt to shoot, but as suggested, last year I learned to shoot, draw, carry left really well.
Right side is solid, and going to work out really well as doc and I talked about angle of fusion for shooting pre-surgery. Once I'm 100% again I'll take on the partial fusing of left.
I still daily carry CM9 left side. In anticipation of carrying for right side, no flex remaining in wrist, cross draw is going to be my easiest way to draw.
