... I had to buy it twice!

Hey folks, I've been lurking the forum for a while, and figured it was time to post a hello thread. So hello.

I bought a CM9 a few weeks ago, and my wife fell in love with it, so I have a second one on order now to replace my 'stolen' CM9.

So far it has been a real winner. The only issues were during the initial break in process, and beyond that, it's been good to go!

Heck the biggest problem I had was deciphering Jocko's awesome thread on initial prep :boink:

:D:D:D

You know what though, he sticks to his guns and is who he is with no apologies, the world could use a few more like that!

Anyhow, enough out of me. This looks like a fun place to hang out. I can't promise I'll post much, but I'll probably be lurking a fair amount

Hi All, I got my CM9 a few weeks ago and had no problems with it during the brake in. Today I received my Dawson Precision Front Night sight and put it on with no problems at all. It was a perfect fit. Here is a picture of it. :D

Yup, that's our Jocko and lord help anyone that tries to change him.
I suspect there would be a large vigilante party hunting and you'd have no place to hide. Hope he don't ever change.

I do think he's softening slightly, not near as crochity as he used to be.

I myself just got a CM9 not too long ago and love it! I did some serious lurking too and found a lot of very good information from Jocko too!

u guys are very flattering, now u can all go and fokk yourselfs, but I still love u all.

I don't need another damn kahr but if I bought one it would definitely be the cm9. They really hit a home run with the cm and Bawanna I am still the same ol crotchity sh-t as I was from post #1. I just can't help it. I have a freezer full of fish heads and horse heads but lately this forum has been so nice, that I just don't have anyone to send one to, but I am patient.

If anyone noticed lately my propper prepping thread has been completely GRAMARICALLY" redone by a fellow poster who wrote me and told me he was an english major and loved my thread but was in so much pain after reading it, the he wondered if he could redue it for me. So I take no credit for the nice way it looks now and if anyone here knows me, and has read it lately they would have surely known that some one had to redue it for me.

I did send the nice fella a FISH HEAD though, just to let him know that I really did appreciate it but just don't press it..

I'll have to go take a look at that. I hadn't noticed the change. I hope it didn't lose any of it's character being all gramatically cured and all.

DID THE RIGHT THING. replacing only the front sight is a no-brainer and the dawson front sights matches up in height perfectly to the kahr rear sight which is really an OK sight, But a real SOB to get out of that dovetail and IMO not worht the effort, for if u train, u should see the front sight clearly ad the rest all falls in place. POA IMO is probably the best way to train with the cm9 kahrs as they are close up personal guns, so get fast with POA and u will surprise yourself as to how accurate that method of shooting really is.

Nice job..

owning a PM9 with the dovetailed front sight and a real bit-h to move, when one thinks about it the dual staked cm and cw front sights are the cats ass for an owner to install . Dawson also makes some awesome fiber optic front sights..

Wow it really did didn't it. I was able to read the whole thing in like 2 minutes. It totally lost it's crossword puzzle style whereby I had to substitute letters trying to determine what the word was. Thats like 40 minutes knocked off the read time but just not the same.

I've been reading your post long enough now it's like I've qualified with a foreign language. I'm kind of proud of myself. It's almost the same and reading officers handwriting but yours is far more challenging.

Wife told me about a friends daughter that goes to one of them special schools for trouble makers and dumb kids. She had a meeting with the counselor and was all excited since she might graduate a year early. ( I think they mostly just want her out of the system) She needed one more art type credit. She told the counselor that her daughter listens to music on her Ipod walking. The counselor told her that was a credit right there. They are gonna buy a diploma for 500 bucks though cause she can't pass math. I'm so proud.

thank u, ol great one, that makes me feel alot better, so I will just continue on the way I have been for over 6000 posts.

Actually Ihave notheard from the nice poster who redone my thread for me or even seen his name on this forum pop up, so I guess when he got the horse head in the mail, he knew to layt low for awhile..
