Now that I've had a chance to shoot my CW9 a couple times I thought I'd share my experiences. As everyone reports, the trigger sure is buttery smooth! And the recoil is easily manageable. But man, that is one stiff mag spring. After the first outing of 150 rounds I had some sore thumbs, it was time to pick up an UpLula.
Second time out was a charm, have I mentioned I love my UpLula yet? It definitely made the next 150 rounds a pleasure to shoot. This isn't the only DAO I own so I wasn't doing too bad, though I will surely need some more time with this trigger. A pleasant surprise though was the quicker I shot the tighter my groups where, go figure.
I now feel that it has proven reliable enough for it's next life. I will be chopping the frame down to a "covert". I think I'm also going to work on the slide release's sharp edges.
Enough rambling, here's a pic of my last 8 rounds.. Stay safe,
