It's done... don't dwell on it. Get one of the Presto Gun touch-up pens... NOT the Gun Blue Pen, though. That's for ferrous steel and won't work on stainless.

You need the Birchwood Casey® Super Black™ Touch - up Pen Flat.

There are several versions besides the BLUE... a flat black and a glossy one.

Almost every business sells these with varying prices... from under $5 to $10 or so... plus shipping. They run $7 to $8 in most stores.



Your pistol just lost some of its newness, but the flat black will hide the bright scratch. It's not like a Sharpie pen and will last a while, but it can wear off... as bluing or any finish can.

Gun stores have to touch up their display guns all of the time.
