jlottmc and I finally got some MUCH needed range time last night. With work, school, a 3 year old thinking she's 20, it was nice to be able to get to the range. Course, we had to do the switch - a-roo (he stays out with her while I shoot and vice versa), but it was nice. Smartphones with kid apps is a BLESSING and the people who invented them need a MEDAL!!!

I am taking a day off in a couple weeks and hopefully we can get to the range together while DD is in daycare/summer camp.

BTW: The Kahr CW45 shoots like a dream. The only trouble I had with it was the slide lock not going back after the last shot and me having to rack the barrel a couple times because it was not chambering. I think that was some of my fault. But all in all it worked great and I shot half way decent.

Good for you! It sounds like you both have a well thought out set of priorities. Here's hoping for the best of luck in all future endeavors. :)

I should have told you that you may need to use that slide lock for a little longer.
BTW I took my P45, Commander, P345, and my GP100. The Commander is a dream, and the Kahr was what I was the bestest with of the day, with the Commander being a close second. The Commander is fixed, no more love taps.

Had a much needed day off off today. jlottmc and I went to the range and I'm doing a lot better with shooting my gun. Dear daughter was in preschool, so we didn't have to switch back and forth. Then went to see Cars 2. Shot the Commander 1911 and the Taurus 740. He can keep it. I like shooting it but I'll keep my Kahr CW45 ANY DAY!!! Although I did handle the Ruguer LCR .357 and the S&W 640. I LOVE the 640 but we may have to go with the Taurus instead because of the price point. It will be a while.
