This video shows the effects on water filled barrels of various calibers. I wonder why no .45? Watch clear to end and you'll not want to use a car door for cover.

It was cute how the water barrel hopped a little when hit with the 5.56 and AK rounds... when the .50 hit it, that barrel positively exploded!!

I hope the car door legend stays alive in the criminal community. It helps to keep the gene pool shallow.:D
