yup great gun, nice shooting. I shoot like that all the time, just ask any forum member, he will vouch for my shooting ability.
The right target, I think u were off alittle though, I normally blow that red dot all to hell at 25 yards FROM THE HIP no less.

Nice shooting! I generally shoot my PM9 like that. My groups are similar, at least until the 2nd round. Then they open up quite a bit. :D

I thought the idea was to put holes all around the target. Now you guys are saying that they all have to be in the same place. Back to the range.
Seriously, nice shootin. Enjoy your PM9

Looks like a thermal uplift of wind gottcha. Carlos Hathcock was a wizard at reading the mirage etc. Making allowance for all the travel time for the bullet to travel the 10 yards excluding the length of the polygonal match barrel.
While it sucks to miss the little red dot, you can comfort yourself in that it would have still hurt and left a mark on a bad guy. That's what I do. I never hit the red spot yet. I sort of work my way in and by the time I go for the red dot I'm usually out of projectiles. Just my luck.
It can be a little embarassing when people look at my target (suitable for framing) and ask what gauge my shotgun is.

Same thing, I just drew it out and used big words to impress everybody.
Global warming is associated with Al Gore and I got enough reasons for looking over my shoulder without bringing him into the mix.

That is some really nice shooting. I'm continually impressed and humbled by how good so many of the folks here on KarhTalk are with their marksman[women]ship.

Yep,that`s the truth.Nobody shoots a tighter one shot group as Jocko. He generally leaves the red dot for less experienced shooters to aim for.Altruism is his watchword in life. What a prince among ordinary men.

well thank u diet, one of the nicest things u have said about me. not sure what altruism means, is that the first symptoms of altimers???
1. Unselfish concern for the welfare of others; selflessness.
2. Zoology Instinctive behavior that is detrimental to the individual but favors the survival or spread of that individual's genes, as by benefiting its relatives.
altruism (ltr-zm)
Instinctive cooperative behavior that is detrimental or without reproductive benefit to the individual but that contributes to the survival of the group to which the individual belongs. The willingness of a subordinate member of a wolf pack to forgo mating and help care for the dominant pair's pups is an example of altruistic behavior. While the individual may not reproduce, or may reproduce less often, its behavior helps ensure that a close relative does successfully reproduce, thus passing on a large share of the altruistic individual's genetic material.
It's apparently something to do with your not wanting to mate with wolves but your ok babysitting the dominant wolves babies even though you didn't help make em. Or something like that I think.
Remember theres a difference between Dimentia and Altimers, wish I new what it was.

oh my thanks bawanna, now I know so so much more. Personally mating with the wolves doesn't sound to exciting to me. I am sure it would turn alot of gun owners eyes towards who jocko really is and how far ol jocko will realy go to make FRIENDS, but I think I will pass on the wolf thing. Now being the grand poobah at Hooters kind of bends my 67 year ol crank a tad. Hooter pak sounds good to me.
Thank you so much for setting me straight, now where did I put my PM9??? I think I would be a good subordinate, as I have been married for 27 years:cheer2:

That's what I was thinking. Almost every time I start shooting, the first shot is DEAD center and then I get in a hurry.
Very nice shooting, but you sure waste a lot of the plates...No holes!

Hi MyName
Ah, don't let these guys kid you, Just do what I do Tell them that it is the humidity in Florida and the rest is all smoke and mirrors.
Very nice shooting, and I would bet that you were aiming just above the red dot.
My new PM9 (about 1 1/2 weeks ago had the same problem as yours), it just kept on going through the same hole:D
The only difference is that mine is Diamond Black and yours is SS.
A great little gun :photo:

I'm sorry if it came across to you as bragging, that was not my intention, I was just all excited coming back from the range with the way the pm9 performed it was a testament to the excellence of the Kahr, and not my marksmanship and I mistakenly wanted to share it with someone. Sorry about that.

Hi myname
I do not think it is bragging, I think it is nice shooting and that is what it is all about.
It is practice and more practice until you feel confident that you can hit what you aim at, time after time after time...............
Anyway, keep up the good shooting and I would sell all of the plates after you are done so that the sauce that goes with the food can drain down the middle of the plate and not on your shirt.:D
NAd when you run out of plates, send me a PM and I will send you some:)

I surely didn't read it as bragging either, heck if I ever shot a target like that I'd quit right there while I was ahead. I'd probably try to get it on the news. Find somebody that knows how to twitter and twitter the heck out of it.
Them targets earn you braggin rights around the people I hang out with.
No need for sorry in any of this in the slightest.
If I shot a target like that there'd probably be powder burns around the outside of the hole and even then probably not in the red dot.

I guess I'm confused as to the goals of shooting as well. I thought we were trying to surround the red dot.
