Thank you for designing, testing, and manufacturing an ultra high quality product. Unlike Brand X, who you are righteously suing. Customers of theirs are again beset with almost non-stop problems with their newly introduced 9mm that seems to as big a POS as there 380 is.
Have those rubes never head of BETA testing? Now one of their mukety mucks says that the severe chipping of the lower end of the feed ramp is not a problem and continue to use the weapons. What a poltroon.
THANK YOU KAHR!!!
Brand D is having more than quality issues. I'll just leave that statement un-explained. Those wishing to look into it further can do so on their own.

There was a run of Sig P220's back in the mid to late 80's that developed chips at the bottom of the feed ramp. I seem to remember some of those were Browning BDA-45's (same gun) too. To me, it looked like Sig had too much of a "knife edge" at the feed ramp's bottom, and got nicked up during feeding. I never saw one that failed because of that. It was actually.... more like serious nicks than chips, now that I'm thinking 'bout it. Either way, the guns worked. BarSto used a slightly different ramp arrangement, thicker at the end, and they also feed perfectly, but didn't nick up. Dunno what the current Sig is like. I polished out the bottom of my own and its been ok too.

The NRA reviewed brand D's 9mm. You have to read what they say about the failures. Its very carefully worded to appear the failures were only as the gun was first used. But if you go back and re-read what they actually say.... its not the case at all, and failures spanned range sessions. They dont say how many rounds were fired, something they usually report.

It amazes me what is going on with guns up in Cocoa. We've got Diamondback, KelTec, Knight/Stoner, Ciener and I seem to recall another maker up there as well (no coffee yet). Technology abounds in that area. Shops set up to support NASA, but the whole area has dried up as far as NASA support goes. I'm just guessing, but the gun biz is some of that technology rolling over into the public sector. I like that, but I dont like rip offs of anyone's patents. KelTec is an interesting place, btw.

CJB - machine shop owners have to do something to stay in business now that NASA has been severely curtailed. However, sometimes it's a good thing.
Case in point. My next door neighbor is a first class machinist and also had a machine shop in his garage. Got laid off during one of our real bad down times in the oil business. He scurried around and got some machining and repair jobs with some of the nation wide rental companies as well as some other work in prototype design and machining. Long story short, said it was the best thing that ever happened to him. Walks 50 feet to work and 50 feet back to the house, no boss, works when he wants too. BTW - his place is about 300' from mine and you hardly ever hear any of his machines. Good guy too.
