Hey everyone. Just got to the range today with my new cw9 after buying it a week ago (just couldn't get to the range). All I can say is WOW!
Followed the prep thread by Jocko (many thanks) last week. Today I took an assortment of range ammo by S&B, Federal, Winchester and put 200 rounds down range. Started at 7 yards and quickly shot the center ring out of a qualifying target I borrowed last time I qualified. Same with some head shots. Moved back to 15 yards with new target same results. Twenty yards same results. Man this thing is accurate! Finished by knocking down some 25 yard plates, missed a few but it hit more than it missed.
After that I shot 50 rounds of my carry ammo Federal 9bple +p+. No problems at all even recoil which I expected to be bothersome was easily handled. The pistol handled everything I ran through it with no failures at all. Double and triple taps are no problem, pistol comes back on target very naturally. The trigger was easy to learn as well. The only downside to the day was I sliced my thumb open loading the last magazine of the day. Sharp little bugger it was.
I got the gun for $366 with leo discount and also purchased two 8 round magazines. To say I am pleased with this purchase is an understatement. Anyway looking forward to being on this site often and talking with everyone.
