I would take the spinning claws over the non claws..... JMO
You need to do a gelatin test, to really show the damage done by each bullet.

Do the Ranger T's have more felt recoil?

Both are good CD ammo. I happen to use T's in my PM40 because I could purchase a larger quantity for approx the same dollars. However, the GD's were on my list of preferred CD ammo, along with several other brands. It's not worth quibbling over if they will both do the job. Both are good.

Something doesnt seem right with the speer gold dot. It appears that a few of the petals have been bent foward to make the bullet appear to have a larger expansion. I could be wrong but I have never seen a Gold Dot or any other JHP expand like the one in the pic. I cant even get my 230gr +p Gold Dots or 230gr +p Ranger T's shot out of a 5" barrel to expand like the one in the pic when ran through calibrated ballistic gel.

9MM 124+p WINCHESTER PDX1 ON THE LEFT (GLOCK 19)
45ACP 230GR +P SPEER GOLD DOT ON THE RIGHT (SPRINGFIELD MC OPERATOR)
As you can see, the only way to get the 9mm to appear to expand to 7/8ths of an inch would be to pry the petals foward.
Both rounds were shot into calibrated ballistic gel.

Gee I'm sorry if I offended your MINE IS BIGGER THAN YOURS 45 EGO.
Try it for yourself, except this time use Gold Dot HP 124gr +P ( short barrel ) instead of a Winchester PDX 1, I did the Winchester Ranger T thing and it was not as impressive to me as the Gold Dot. and BTW I DID NOT ALTER THE RESULTS as you implied.

Happens with age. It will probably clean up with a bit of elbow grease and disinfectant. :p
It is kinda cryptic when the OP removes info.
Why?
