Joy to the world, shot both Kahr pistols today at the outdoor range. I can proclaim the CM9 is broken in and ready for action. Both the CM9 and CW9 were able to make some difficult shots as I gained more trigger control and confidence! Several IDPA targets set at 20 yards, one popper and a clay bird hanging from a line using a clothespin.

The popper was used to start a swinging target, the clay bird was a mind game to throw me off, both at 10 or 12 feet. both just a booger to hit with a CM9. It can be done! :w00t:

I did well shooting against XD service pistols and a BHP Practical model.

Kahr shooters hold you head high! I know I am cursing for a big fall, but I am thrilled with these great Kahr pistols

How much recoil difference did you notice between the CW9 and the CM9?

Port um, forget about recoil... I not ownning a cw series but the PM series would think by size the cw should shoot wtih less felt recoil, as the grip being longer gives u more control. That being said both are ***** guns to shoot in 9mm.

ricklee4570 and Jocko - I was surprised while the CW9 has very little recoil, due to the full grip and extra barrel length, the CM9 is not bad! I really thought the CM9 would be a hand full. Not so! It is very controllable. Although I did shoot the CW9 some better and with more ease, the CM9 is an excellent self defense pistol.

+1 Even my PM40 is quite manageable.

Agree. I have owned both and still have my CM9. CM9 is easy managable. Not a whole lot of difference.
