p380 night sites

I called Kahr to see how much night sites would be to get installed on my p380(love the gun). She told me 80.00 for the sites, 40.00 to install, and 25.00 for it to be shipped back to me. So 145.00 not including my cost to ship it there, as I pulled my mouth off the floor. I asked if I could install them myself. She said (very rudely) "Yes but it voids the warranty". So I drop almost 600.00 on the gun and they want another 145.00 for night sites install. They are CRAZY, and charging for shipping back. This is the first time I have dealt with Kahr cus. service. Is this how they operate? Im glad I got my CW9 with night sites already installed.

the xs sight people if ur wanting the xs big dots, which I hve on my P380 and truly love um, u can just send them the slide for about $8 bucks and they will instaltheir sights foyou very reasonable. and professionally..

If you want to buy from Dawson sight people, I think they offer a night sight for the P380 and will also install. Kahr would be my last resort although i UNDERSTAND THEIR CHARGE RATE TO I don't know of any company that pays the shipping back to have sights put on. I would not recommend u trying it unless u have a good sight pusher, as normally kahr sights are damn near weled on. No doubt if u damage the slide in installing don't expect warranty on that part, for what u did. Let a good sight company that sells their sights and installs do it. bite the bullet,, it is only a one time event. I would sure go with the xs big dots on the P380 A super sight system indeed..:blah::blah: I don't know of any small ass 380 on the market except the kahr P380 that will accept xs sights, as they are made just for the P380..

FWIW - I love the XS Big Dots on both my P380 and PM9. I installed them myself on my PM9, and they were about a hundred bucks. NS aren't cheap. If you're not confident in your ability to install, their charge isn't too bad. Maybe a local gunsmith could do it for the same cost but without the shipping charges... just a thought.
