I'd say you done really really good. Is it a GA or a GC serial#. Not that it matters one single iota.

Looks good. Surprised nobody went up against ya on that one. You done good. Happy for ya.

Can't tell. $380 + shipping + FFL = $415 OTD. I'll need a few mags but it's a great start.

I've got a MK40 Elite w night sights and love it to pieces!
Paid $820 and had to have it shipped from the west coast to Florida!
The all stainless guns rule. Even the mags are stainless.
(If you can't tell I'm stainless man - LOL)
I even changed out the guide rod for stainless.

Very good choice and great price.
Anyway, congratulations.

Anyone want to swap a 6rd mag for that 7rd mag?

yessir, if that one runs well you're gonna love how it shoots. I had a PM9 and traded it for an MK9.......though it's heavier it's a MUCH better shooter than the PM. It's a SWEET shooting little gun. You stole that thing.

Well, I wanted a PM9. If this one doesn't scratch that itch I'll see if anyone wants to swap me a PM9 for it.

The waiting is the hardest part. Should be here Friday. In the mean time I drove over to Autrey's Armory today and grabbed some 6rd mags. They had some used K9's in the case for $650. I messed with one for a minute and really like it. No MKs to touch though.

There's a new MK40 for $650.00 at the local gun shot that keeps winking at me...

(Also a mini Glock 40 with what looks like a stainless slide and barrel, some kind of new process from the factory. ($650.00 also)) I just can't seem to look away?!?!?

Barth, did you get your SS guide rod @ Kahr? I've heard they are not an exact fit and have to be modified (shortened) in some cases.

Yes, I got it from Kahr.
It's a perfect fit. No modification.
The only kicker is it's just the rod.
And the MK40 is a captured double recoil spring design (a la Seecamp).
So you have to transfer your old double springs and sleeve to the new guide
rod.

(If Kahr is listening, I'd prefer to have the complete guide rod assembly
and it would be a "drop in" replacement - oh well.)

Thanks Greg. She cleaned up nicely. If I had to guess I'd say the gun had been lubed with WD40 as it was very very gummed up. I detail stripped it and used intake manifold cleaner to strip all of the gunk then lubed from scratch. She's very smooth now.

Which one? :)

I've put 100 rounds through one of them and 175 through the other. Both functioned 100%

Nice! One for each pocket or each side of the waistband, depending on how you decide to carry them. :D

Do I see a pattern developing here? ;)

Nah, I am looking to sell one or trade it for a PM9. I don't need two of the same but it just worked out that way.
