Does anyone have the Galco M5X paddle holster. I like the kydex paddle holster and bought a Fobus C-21B, and to use it I have to almost take the tension screw out, and about a 2 handed pull to get it out, unlike the Fobus for the 1911 and J frame I have, and was wondering if the Galco M5X worked well going in and pulling the gun out. I have a CM9 for it. Thanks and appreciate any info.

Are you asking about the fit for a CM9? I wonder if the Fobus holster was made exactly for a PM9, and the added bulk on the front of the CM9 slide is making it tight? Have you tried the trick some people use with tight leather holsters: wrap the gun in plastic wrap, insert it in the holster and leave it overnight. I don't know if that will work for Kydex, or not.

Have you checked out Blade Tech (http://www.blade-tech.com/home.php) holsters? I got one of their Kydex holsters along with a FN FNP-9 pistol I bought a few years ago, and I remember how perfect the fit was: click in ,click out.

Yes, my question was if it fits good, with the CM9, the guard on the trigger is wide and will not go into the holster unless more or less forced, and more trouble getting it out of the holster. I have read couple other threads and see some others have had trouble with the CM9 or PM9 fitting in the Fobus holster. I will check out the holster your suggested and see how it looks. Thanks!

Yeah, their pictures are lousy on the website, but the holsters are good quality.

I am wearing a GALCO MATRIX M5X460. I just took it off to get that information which is molded into it discretely.

It fits my PM40 perfectly. Is very smooth inside and has a nice paddle.

Retention is adjustable with a single screw. The version for my PM40 has no rivets on the lower edge, just two small ones on the top edge. It almost looks like a nice leather holster with well molded details.

Since the PM9 and PM40 are nearly identical, I believe you will be very pleased.

I have a Fobus that I modified to fit the PM40 and my now gone CW40, It works. But, it is "fugly". ;)

Good news, thanks! The GALCO MATRIX M5X460 is the only reasonably priced paddle holster I have found that does not require any modifications to work well with my PM40's.

I am very pleased to hear that it works well for you too. :)
