First I've seen in a while: Bonded Remington 230-gr Golden Sabers 50-round box $36.99 plus shipping. Not a great price but haven't seen any for a long time. I switched to 230-gr Gold Dot Short Barrel due to availability.

Just for information:

Thanks for posting Wynn. This is my favorite SD ammo in .45acp and it has been very hard to locate lately, but I`ll be damned if I`ll jump through the hoops that the seller demands to buy any.I know he is located in Illinois and has to abide by their draconian laws but I don`t.Sooner or later I`ll find some for sale in this country.

I bought mine from him... cheaper a year or so ago, and he seemed like a decent guy... no problems with me. I certainly don't remember any onerous demands.

I just bought some Blazer, aluminum-cased 230-gr FMJ from Cabela's... $163.80 for 500 rounds including the $5 shipping. That seemed the best I could do for FMJ right now... saved tax and about $12 on shipping.

I like GS's because they seem to feed well in any gun and perform well. I have about three hundred in 9mm, but that means only the PM9 gets them. I've got a hundred in 45 that I bought a couple of years ago, but I haven't found a decent price in 45 or 40 lately. I did find 500 bonded Ranger in 40 recently for $159 last month.

I barely have enough Bonded GS to fill my 5 S&W 645 mags, so before too long I'll be using Speer 230-gr GDs in it.
I went berserk at the range last week and shot off over 250 rounds with my 3 .45's. I did test the Short-Barrel GD's in the 5" S&W... also shot up all the Bonded GS and GD's I had with me, too. I have pictures of the flashes yet to post. I missed using the 5" for testing in my previous GD testing, especially the short barrel version. I kind of screwed up when I was getting the stills off the video and have to sort that out ... find them and relabel them.

I had around 190 rounds loaded into mags and I started with 200 fmj and then my defense ammo. All three guns are very accurate and I had fun.

It creates a lot of extra work and slows me down. However I would hate dealing with losing my business license even more.

I may be moving the business to SW Florida in a few years.
