New guy, New Kahr CM9-1st time out

Just wanted to post some details, etc. on my first time out with my NIB CM9. Along with the pistol, I also bought a 7 round mag. I only shot 120 rounds on Thursday. 50 Blazer Aluminum 115gr fmj, 50 Tula 115gr fmj, and 20 Speer 124gr GDHP. 120 flawless rounds. I alternated mags and had ZERO malfunctions. I know Kahr suggests 200 rounds for break-in, and I'm sure next time out I'll be well over that number. I don't expect any problems. Mine hit at POA from 5, 7, and 10 yards. When I do my part, this pistol lacks nothing in accuracy. My usual EDC is a G19 in an IWB. I picked this up to be a pocket carry gun. Clerk at the gun shop said it wasn't really a pocket gun. Well, maybe not in jeans, but in my camo/cargo pants or shorts it is a pocket gun. It works very well in a front pocket in the right pants in a Desantis pocket holster. Love this pistol so far. I believe it will be around for a long time.:D

Welcome to the party. I have about 250 rounds through mine and it's a keeper. I hope to dodge the rain and maybe get out today myself. Nice holster too. I just ordered a Remora and hope it works out.

Frankly,I`m amazed at the idiocy of a lot of gun store clerks. I carry my PM9 in my jeans front pocket quite a bit.Misinformation seems to be their true stock in trade.I remember one such shimmering jewel of collosal ignorance tried to convince me that 115 grain Remington UMC fmj was a great self defense round.That aside,congratulations on a fine firearm.It sounds as if you`ve found yourself a new friend.

Welcome to KahrTalk! Sounds like you picked a winner. Thanks for adding the pics.

My PM9 fits in most of my pants pockets. You must do a few test draws before heading out to ensure that the fit also allows for a smooth quick draw. With cargo pants, I'm talking slash pockets not cargo pockets, I've carried my Glock 26 with the only issue being its weight.

Welcome to the forum, and congratulation on the PM9! I carry mine in a front pocket of of cargo and docker type pants, I may try to carry in Wrangler Jeans, but it looks sort of big to me in jeans. I love mine.

Thanks. My CM9 is definitely a keeper! Something about that smooth trigger face...My G19 is getting nervous, especially when Bud's has the CW9 in stock for $366:eek:
