I am now Mr. CISSP, CISA, CRISC.

On to the PMP.

Anyone need a CSO?

I was thinking of purchasing a gun to celebrate my new cert. What gun popped in your head when you saw CRISC?

If nothing popped in anyone's head...here are some that I have been thinking about.
1. Walther PSS. I know, I know, this is the Kahr form.
2. A 22LR bolt rifle, threaded barrel for suppressor, setup like a miniature sniper rifle, but more to paper punching and killing tree rats. (In the end I would like to collect the big brothers also.)
3. Combo rifle/shotgun. (30-06/12ga?) The gun you take to the woods when you need food.

I can't help ya. I don't have a clue what any of them initials stand for, not even one.

Probably why I have hair loss, so many things flying so closely over my head. Like a launch pad for Tomcats or something.

1911's are always first on my list.

In this post (http://kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=4964) Ms. TD2K recently mentioned a new 1911 in 22 LR from SIG.

Cost effective and fun to shoot. :)

CRISC: add an O = Crisco, add prison fence = Dietrich. I'd say get a Tommy Gun.

I recently (2 weeks ago) picked up one of these:

ATI GSG 1911-AdOps .22

Hope to get out and shoot it next week.

At some point, might pick up a real can for it as well.

One of them has been on my list ever since TD2K got hers. One of these days.
My son has the GSG MP5 look alike and it's a real fun shooter.

Are you really a lefty or was that just a photo op. Did you need to have specific left hand whirlly birds to fly or are they ambi?

Rotorflyr

I'm (semi) ambi, right hand dominant, but have always shot left handed (including when playing cowboy's n indians/cops n robbers/war as a kid).

I'd like to pick up a GSG 5 at some point down the road, along with a Ruger 10/22 and a Walther P22 (as much as I enjoy shooting "real" calibers, it's just get's really pricey to do so often and alot, and .22's are bunches of fun!)

Nope, there aren't any lefty specific Helis. Actually most Heli's are right seat PIC (as in the pilot sits on the right side of the aircraft), though the company I'm currently on contract with is going to a new airframe which is set up for left seat PIC, but that makes no difference to which hands you use on which control (just makes it's a pita to climb over the collective), it's the same no matter which side you're sitting on..

Congrats! Say hello to Ms. MCSA, A+, and Network+. That's my former life.

The first thing that popped into my head was Crisco.

The Walther PPS is a Glock on a diet...no fat.

Walther PPS = Walther POS IMHO.

When I graduated from Grad School a few years ago I rewarded myself with an OD Glock 33 :)

Goodness, now the secrets start coming out. I never knew that about you Melissa, course I still don't know anything. I hope this MCSA and Network stuff isn't related to the oldest profession.

You guys are talking like cops, they love all these initials and abreviations so us common folks don't know what they're talking about.

Well, Bawanna! Networking is about making all the different parts work together to ensure a good connection. :p

Don't let anyone tell you that you have an ID10T error! :19:

:o I don't believe I've ever had a girl say anything like that to me before. Dietrich once sent me a PM referring to connections and parts and crisco and stuff but I didn't understand it too awful good either.
Is there a cure for this ID10T error dealy himer iffen I ever get one. I take vitamins, maybe I ought to take some anti biotics just to be on the safe side.

I didn't realize you'd "been around". But it's ok, your aces with me, I dont care about your past.

No, the ID 10T error is usually fatal...pills won't help. Don't worry, Bawanna. You don't have it. :)

How do ya know for sure? I could be approaching the river crossing and not even know it. I'm feeling a little poorly, I figured it was being run down with all the doings lately but maybe this ID10T thing has got a grip on me.

I better get my things in order just to be safe.

NOw I gotta worry about his layer 8 thing too, who are you people?

Don't you cop types have your own secret words...like DB? Now that's one I'd really worry about.

Oh yeah they got all kind of abbreviations and stuff, trying to keep up with the FBI and CIA and the NRA and stuff but I don't understand most of them either. I always tell em to talk to me in complete sentences.
DB I think is too late. Whatever was ailing ya ain't ailing ya no more.

Lot of misunderstanding on cop talk. One is death unattended and I've gotten multiple explanations. Supposedly the correct one for unattended death is they weren't under a doctors care. Just die at home.
Originally I was told unattended was when somebody didn't kill ya.

We had a lady read just unattended death in the paper and she was all upset cause the poor person died all alone. I had to tell her they was surrounded by family and that isn't what it means. We've since changed the wording to reduce public upset. Go figure.

Well I think I'm on the wrong path. I looked up layer 8 and found a chicken farm that numbers their chickens to monitor productivity and such. I just don't think thats the same as what you guys are talking about.
I guess if they ain't productive they meet Col Sanders?

This is a very interesting conversation. I speak acronym.

The Sig is interesting. Is it a real 1911 lower? Can I put a real 1911 45ACP on top?

I always wondered what the 10-xxx was for "meet you at the doughnut shop." Used to have a deputy friend but I forgot to ask. Although they did have location codes for all local eating establishments.
