Went out even in the drizzle this morning to put more rounds down range.
CM9 rounds 250 - 350: Flawless
50 Federal classic JHP
50 Tula
That includes racking the slide on first round and not the slide release.
Anybody thinking about a CM9 should get it.

nice report. I think there is a poster on the elsie pea forum that has ovber 2000 flawless rounds through his cm9. No doubt kahr got this gun right. no doubt either that next out will be the cm40. Success followes success..

I agree with Jocko.Kahr seems to have the compact 9mms nailed. That`s a good thing.I know I`ve been in love with my PM9 since the first range trip.

sometimes when I take my PM9 apart to clean etc and I really look it over closely, I am just amazed as to how perfect looking my pM9 is. There is not a wear mark on the gun, the polymer rails that really should not be in contact with the slide on my PM9 are absolutely perfect. The front and back steel rails are perfect. My barrel inside which has had Hoppe's #9 in it for cleaninbg sinice I have owned it, is perfect. My slide looks totally new inside and out, just no wear anywhere on my gun. I sometimes think this gun is running on a fine film of lube between the slide rails and gun rails. It is just that smooth. The trigger system, just could not be smoother.
I truly amaze myself as to just how bad a shot I am with this gun. I just do not shoot it well and certainly through no fault of the gun..

That's great! Glad you got a winner.
Came off my backyard range maybe 2 hours ago. Besides SD ammo shot some reloads through my PM9 for the first time. My brother likes to load range ammo soft. I was surprised to see that the reload brass was only flying about half the distance of my SD ammo YET NO FAILURES. Thought for sure I'd have issues when I went weak hand but happy to report that my little PM9 eat them all.

Wish I had a backyard range. Maybe one day.
I'll make one more trivial range report around 500-600 rounds and after that save the electrons for someone else. May help someone that's on the fence about getting the CM9. It's a winner so far just like my CW9 was.

hell man don't leave us now, ur good to go,now u can just add to the price of those who own a cm9. I brag on them but don't actualy own a cm9...
sounds alot better with words coming from an acutal owner.. Besides that read your fine print in your kahrtalk acceptance membership. BAWANNA is the only one who can excuse you:banplease: and preesently he is out fish head hunting, very similar to arrowhead hunting, only on water.

Well I better not upset our good friend Bawanna the Kahr Cop should I. I may need a friend in the Pacific NW if I ever go and visit my sister out there. Plus if I get out there and get in trouble for smarting off because they think all us southerners are like Goober and Barney maybe he has some pull to get me out on bail. Why after all where he's originally from I think they go noodleing of all things which makes us almost cousins.

It's funny you bring this up, because when you buy a Sig, e.g. the P238 or the new P290, the barrels looks like total crap before you even shoot them, whereas my PM9 has more rounds down it than my no-longer-owned P238 and P290 and looks much newer at a glance. I wish Sig didn't use such aesthetically unpleasing barrel material.
You can see what I'm talking about here....

looks like sig finishs their barrels like glock does . Kahr puts a very dull finish/coat on their barrels but under that finish is one very shiny nickel plated barrel that will shine like a diamond and stay that way

It looks as though lots of people are lumping CM9's and PM9's together in these reports and so I guess I will too ...
I also had a great range day yesterday with my PM9. 150 FMJ and a dozen Federal 124gr Hydra-Shok JHP ... No hiccups, no farts, just 162 *BANG*s ...
This brings the total # of rounds sent downrange since new (July1st) to 580. I've had flawless performance with my PM9 since some very minor glitches in the first two mags fired.
On another note, this most recent 150 FMJ fired has all been Russian steel-cased (Brown Bear) ammo. I fired one box of it during the first week I had the PM9 and it ran fine, so I bought more.
It's dirty, dirty, dirty ... but the PM9 just keeps spitting them out without a problem. So, other than being somewhat put off when I went to clean the pistol afterwards, I'm happy with it as well.
I've not found ANYTHING that's less expensive to use at the range and although I don't reload, I have to admit that I hated leaving my brass behind for someone else to collect. Perhaps, if I get to the point where reloading makes sense, I'll have to change to some other ammo but for now I guess I'll stick with the steel stuff.
Pricewise, USA Ammo's remanufactured 9mm appears to be similar, but their shipping costs are 40% higher than what I'm paying, so Ammunition To Go seems to be the place for me.
