I leave in the morning for the Eastern hopefully warm side of the state for a little Bass and Trout fishing and hopefully a little bit of shooting but mostly not doing much of anything. I'm burnt out and need a recharge.

I created this thread so you guys and girls have a place to talk about me behind my back. That way IF I come back, probably have to they don't have internet over there and how would I survive without kahrtalk, I only have one place to look to see all the dispicable, nasty, and perverse things yall said about me. Easy squeezy.

Don't burn the place down while I'm gone, no trolls thru the gate, and if anybody gets any new toys (Melissa try to control yourself) be sure to tell me when I get back. I like hearing about peoples new toys.

I might have time to check in later tonight if I get all the junk loaded and ready to go.

I really miss you folks when I'm incommuncado but the fish must be dealt with and I'm just the guy to do it. Jocko said he was running low so I'm saving all the heads for his use.

My transportation for the next week. Me and my drunken crew.

For you waiting on wood, a couple weeks and the sawdust should start flying, good lord willing and the creek don't rise.

tomorrow he is gone and then the mice can play. Actually he is on a mission for ol jocko. as I have run out of fish heads.

By the way Bawanna uses Dupont spinners for all his fishing trips.

Have a great time fishing, uncle B! You deserve a full live well or three after going through all the wedding shenanigans, er I mean, celebrations! Just make sure to stay away from Hanford. Sure they got trophy fish there, but you don't want to know what the gub'mint did to make them trophies! :75: See you on the flip side.

Reminds me of that Hello Mudder, Hello Fodder summer camp song at camp Granada.

Back to my moving and storage loading job. Where'd we put the darn kitchen sink.

Hey, we want some pictures of what you catch and to know whether the fishing is any good. That sounds like a good time. I may get out there one day. All that being said Jocko reminded me of your high position here at Kahrtalk and I posted the quote below on a CW9 range report. Never realized how much I may need to ask a favor if I ever visit my sister out there but if the fishing is good I might just have to visit.

Relax and tell us all about it when you get back.

Well I better not upset our good friend Bawanna the Kahr Cop should I. I may need a friend in the Pacific NW if I ever go and visit my sister out there. Plus if I get out there and get in trouble for smarting off because they think all us southerners are like Goober and Barney maybe he has some pull to get me out on bail. Why after all where he's originally from I think they go noodleing of all things which makes us almost cousins.

I think we are cousins and who told ya about the noodling?

Thanks for reminding me to put the camera in the pile. I just asked the boy if the fishing nets were still in the boat, he said they was. So I went and looked, no nets. Found em in the garage, go figure. What ya gonna net in a garage?

Saw that noodling on the hillbilly channel. If the son would have forgot the nets he could have been your noodler. :D

O'dell should know about those banjos. They're from his neck of the woods. But I have to say I lived in that part of the country for a few years and even passed through last year on a vacation and yep, I think they're still playing.

Yeah, "Deliverance" was shot on the Oconee River in north Georgia, but Bert Reynolds shot most of his movies here. He used to live a mile or two from me, but I never met him. BTW, I hated that movie. It's probably one of the reasons I only seen one movie in the last twenty years.

Look at the message # - one more to go!

That's why I have my 58" plasma and surround sound. I like watching and listening to the movie... not the babies crying, a$$holes yacking, cell phones rings, high-cost snacks, and having to "hold it" until the movies over... harder to do these days!
We rent the DVD... or Blu-ray these days and watch it at our leisure. I like that I can eat my own popcorn and drink whatever I want... and can pause the movie for those needed pee-breaks! Unfortunately for my wife, she's subjected to one of those people that's annoying in the movies... ME!! :D
I commentate and explain all of the errors and stupid things in the movies... OCD-like. If I couldn't talk, I feel like I would explode... it's like a cat trying to claw its way up out of a wet bag or tub... almost uncontrollable. She wants COMPLETE silence... I can't hold it back, though. I just have to comment on the extra racking of shotguns... or the last second for emphasis racking or cocking of the hammer on a 1911-type pistol... after chasing the BG's down and exchanging shots, maybe!!

Hey, I enjoy the danged movies!

The fact is, I just don't like movies. I have thousands available free with Comcast On Demand, and I've never watched one. I have never rented a movie. I think the problem is mostly an attention span issue. It's all I can do to get through an episode of NCIS, the only TV program I watch. After about a half-hour, my mind starts wandering to all the more productive things I could be doing, [like KahrTalk] and at that point I'm through. It even aggravates Vickie sometimes that I can't sit still long enough to watch a movie with her. Of course the upside is that I avoid all those 'chick flicks'.

Oh man, not chick flicks. I'd rather be shot with my own gun than have to watch something on the lifetime movie network. There is enough drama in this world without having to watch more on TV.

I will admit though I have watched a couple of DVD's (and that would be 2 only) with the wife that she picked out in the last 2-3 years. I will admit they were OK and had a good family ending. Something that showed strength instead of all all women are in a bad relationship and all men are dogs except for the "hero" that came and saved her. I think she knows what I can tolerate. Otherwise I would have got up and left. But after that I was ready to do something else.
