2nd range trip problems with my new cm9

well my 2nd range trip in two weeks resulted in me leaving my gun at my local gun shop for the gunsmith to look at it and if he cant do anything about it then its gonna be sent back to Kahr but it seems to me its the guide rod assembly. The spring works it way around the front of the guide rod and gets hung up

get a new recoil assembly, sounds to me likke the outter spring is way out of spec. A call to kahr will probably getyou one in the mail. I would not pay a smitty to mess with it as it is covered under warranty. Callkahr kand ask fo rJay and tell them what is happeing. My bet a new recoil assembly will be in the mail..

I am trying to picutre whatu are say also. Is this outter spring coming out the front end of the slide??? Is it coming over that little end cap at the end of the recoil assembly??? Is it coming over that back part of the tube tha tthe outter spring slides over???

I am sure ur doling it right but is the open end of the recoil spring going towards the front of the slide??

the guide rod spring is coming over the end cap of the guide rod and binding up the slide ill see what the smith says im sure all will be good but untill then my glock will be back on my hip yet again

i'm w Jocko on this. Kahr can send you a rod/spring ass'y or buy one for $15 and you probably will be good to go within a week. That is all a smitty will probably do.

I sure would not ay any smitty do to what a gun company would warranty or for that matter with this recoil thing send the fella new assembly.
