I saw a post to Melissas reloading thread from Bawanna. He may be back.

Welcome back buddy. I just want you to know I had nothing to do with it (well not much anyway.):D

Nah,he`s not back and I`m glad.He needs a break after all he`s been through with his daughter getting married.He has just found a way to get on the internet where he is.He initially thought he wouldn`t have access but he does.I hope he spends more time in recreational activities than he does at a keyboard.I heard the place he went to is a resort for rednecks called Club Red.According to the brochure they offer horseshoes,skinny dippin`,huntin`,fishin`,cussin`,drinkin`,and Merle Haggard music.Sounds like it was tailor made for him.

Another very wet day in paradise. We've come to this lake the same week for 24 years now and we only recall one similar wet week like this about 15 years ago so guess we're still lucky. Not much summer in Washington this year I guess but its still good.

Still catching fish between showers which I've found matters less an less to me. Nice just hanging out. Hope it stops so I can go shoot later, if not guess there will be another time.

Seems like you should combine fishin with shootin! Just remember the worst day of fishing is better than the best day of work. It always took me 4-5 days to unwind from work and then I'd spend 2-3 days building back up for work. One week just wasn't enough for me.

Well I did just what you said. Kind of nasty today so we went to the range. Beautiful set up. Under cover and nobody but me an mine there. It goes out to 250 yards and we had a blast shooting 250 with my 92 Winchester look alike in 45 Colt. A big dirt bank made it easy to walk on to a target. Shot my 30-30 Thompson Contender for the first time in 20 years too and was able to walk it on at 250 too. Lots of fun and lots to clean when we get home. I got a couple extra days off to regroup before work. And a 3 day week to start off. We usually stay here 10 days and then 4 days to regroup. week ain't enough for us either.

Glad your having fun my friend.
Cherish these moments.

I'm lucky the immediate family is still close. My extended family is getting bigger an bigger from coast to coast but this forum is the reunion which happens daily. I enjoy telling people I got people all over the country.

Don't know what the heck I'd do without all you guys an girls to visit every day.

Looks like you are having a generally good vacation. I didn't know that you had gone until I got back on Tuesday afternoon. The proxy server worked but it was so sloooow, that I just gave up. Was worse than dial up!

In any event, enjoy!

You're lucky to have family, my friend. Other than my son, who I don't see often, mine is pretty much gone. Fortunately, Vickie's has adopted me, but since we won't be getting together at the Diner, that'll probably be a holiday thing. I too, depend on the KahrTalk family, and hope it'll be a long relationship.

Come back soon and safe, because we're all waiting for those fishing and range stories, true or not.

A little embellishment is OK though - LOL!

I'll try to get some evidence photos posted when I get home but this afternoon we went shooting again. I shot my son's FN 308 with a nice Leupold scope on it at 200 yards. Used a 50 yard pistol target with I'd guess about a 3" bull. Put 8 shots in the black. I was rather proud of myself.

Course when I switched to my PM45 the group opened up to at least 6" but I might have been having a bad day. PM 45's are close up guns not over 175 yards I don't think.

After firing 200 yard free hand 6" pistol groups and catching dinner for the family with his bare hands;
