Took my new CM9 out again yesterday while visiting my mom. It was about 100 degrees out and really didn't want to be out too long. I fired 80 rounds--20 of those were my favorite SD round--Speer 124gr GDHP's. So, I'm at an even 200 now. ZERO malfunctions. I have 6 round and 7 round mags, and I cycle through them both. I'm getting good with the trigger. When I do my part, the little pistol can really hold them together at 7 and 10 yards. I REALLY like this CM9 for a pocket SD pistol.

Gonna take it to an indoor range this week--got some free range time here locally. Did I say I really like this pistol?? Sure, the trigger is long, which I don't mind on a SD gun, but it IS SMOOTH...

Great! That's one way to beat the heat. I will be out very early in the morning to beat the Arizona sun tomorrow.
It's probably good that these things are stainless and plastic, both mostly proof to sweaty hands! :)

Good to hear that the the 7 round magazine is also doing well.
Question though about it.
Are you loading it up with a full 7 rounds?
If I only load 6 in mine it does fine but whenever I load the full 7 after firing the next round nose dives and it jams the pistol.
Quite irritating.

heeler: have u checked to see if by change that mag follower is getting somewhst stuck by the magazine release. thatis a common thing witht he 2/3round issues some have had with all kahr mags that act like that. not only the 7 round mag..

heeler--
I have the 2 mags, one 6 and one 7 round. I load both to capacity, no problems with either. I like the 7 rounder for range, etc, but when I carry the pistol, I go with the 6 rounder.
