Yeah, I got the same E-Mail. I don't know why they bothered, since my last visit was listed as 2/10/10. I even had a PM that had been hanging for over a year - guess it's too late to respond. No clue as to why the change.

Just got the email myself. Talks about the new ownership and software. Also have to reset my password.

Probably not as I sold the P3AT soon after getting the CW9 :w00t:

Several years ago, there was some mention that this might occur and my guess is that the reasoning given then still applies. Here's a link: http://www.thektog.org/forum/showthread.php?t=197155&page=1.4

Humm... I'm also a regular @ KTOG but no email as yet. Did notice the sight looking a bit different.

Hey, just tried to login to KTOG and the site no longer likes my username password!

At least TxCajun is still there. On the KTrange.com forum just about everyone bugged out when it was sold.

Admittedly, we are down to a couple of completely trouble-free P-3AT's, but it feels like the end of an era somehow.

On the positive side, this may reduce the amount of time I waste on the Internet. :blah:

I could be wrong, but wasn't he a school teacher? Maybe he still is. In either case, he probably came by the attitude honestly.

yup a school teacher that taught young kids, so I think the dictator attitude came from dominating the kids..

to RJ, one of the kt mods and he said no one knew it was even happening until it was done, They didn't bail they were dropped with no notice or explanation.. I did not see TxCajun names in the new mod section. I guess I would be surprise to see that they kept him and no one else. I was on there for over 5 years had over 5000 posts, compared to this kahr talk forum, wow, u better not come on there and knock a kt product, they took real offense to that, didn't matter whether the product deserved it from that one poster either. I had so many issue swith my 3 that after awhile TX Cajun was PM-ing me with the most nasty comments, that I finally felt I should move on before they dropped me anyhow, as I could see it coming. There was some real nice mods over there also. RJ Hauser was one of them that I could trust what he said etc. I remember when the lcp came out and he took one to his range that he owns and later on reported it had over 30,000+ rounds through it before it broke on him and he was crucified on that kt forum for plugging the Ruger, which was a copy of the kt, that would not make that many rounds.

Which Kel-Tec site are you talking about, Jocko?

KTRange:
RJ and the faithful crew at KTRange.com probably got sh@t upon by Midi when he sold the URL and the board. That would not surprise me. RJ and others left KTRange to regroup on http://www.usrange.org.

KTOG:
RJ and the rest of the crew (including the object of your disdain) appear to still be operating on KTOG.org which now uses a second URL (http://www.thektog.org/forum) for its forum.

well now u have me confused. I see also that RJ is still on the ktog forum and it looks like it has not changed, so I right now just don't know wha to tell you. I never visit the ktrange, so I didn't even know RJ was a mod over there even.

UPDATE: Ktrange made the big ownership change. KTOG group is alive and well, same ol same oh there to..:blah: sorry about that..
