Like like this reply:
"Hmmm, and the Democrats are trying to force companies to hire people with criminal records. "
San Fran just passed a bill giving Ex-Cons Protected Status.... same as illegals and owls.
But, really, Kahr should have known the guy had a felony record. It does not make sense for a gunmaker to hire ex-cons. The government (exept for San Francisco) doesn't do that, why should a gunmaker?
Does this kind of news make any sense? I'm having difficulty discerning insanity from normal benavior.

That crap happened way back in the 90's when Kahr was just starting. Look where the court battle was fought... in one of the crookedest, most vehemently anti-gun jurisdictions in the country... Chicago and "Crook" County!!
We can all feel safer now, huh??
Wynn:)
The headline shoud read:
CHICAGO FINDS NEW WAY TO PAY ITS BILLS
I wonder how many other cities and states are looking into this type of revenue stream?

Very true.
But on another note:
Dose this mean that an ex-felon working at McDonald's can steel a hot cup of coffee and go out in public and throw it on on someone and then McDonald's be sued??

Hard to believe that even the Brady foks can even believe some of the crap they dream up. The media is in the same canoe.
All propoganda to remove common sense.
This thread is depressing, lets talk about angels packing pistols on paved beaches so wheelchair folks can get close and not get stuck in the sand.

Then:
The ATF & DEA should have class action suits brought against them for all of those who have died because of the guns those morons shipped to Mexico. Terry Bryant was killed with one of those guns.

Absolutely agreed. Along with their leader who I firmly believe was in on the whole thing. That poser who's name starts with an "O".

I wonder who is on what side anymore.
They sent Terry Bryant in harms way with rubber bullets but they properly arm the cartel with real ones. How do ya figger that?

What I'm saying is that a company that makes guns should ask their employees if they have a criminal record. If the answer is YES, then put them in an area that does NOT handle weapons... OR don't hire them at all. Afterall our government does not hire ex-cons, why should any private business be subject to this?
I hope Kahr has changed their employment policies. It's an unfair charge against them and Chicago took full advantage of the crime. That's a shame.

The sad thing is the government and the bleedin hearts want to adapt excons back into society to live meaningful and productive lives as good citizens after they have served their time.
The government won't hire them but they want them to have jobs, they can't live very good on the straight and narrow without a paycheck.
So what do we do? Some come out and do just fine, some didn't really deserve to do their time in the first place, some didn't get enough time and some should just have their plug pulled and be done with.

AS for what do we do; a good start would be NOT TO PUT THEM WHERE THEY HAVE ACCESS TO WEAPONS!
