I was just wondering for all you P9/CW9 owners out there, what mag do you normally carry in your pistol when you are concealed carrying? I always used the (almost) flush one just thinking shorter is better but for some reason today I loaded up the 8rd mag. I couldn’t tell any difference but I has an ever so slight printing of the end when I moved a certain position (But I was only wearing a thin T-shirt) . It looks to be about a half inch longer than the 7 rd mag. So what are your opinions is the extra roundd worth a half inch?
As far as that goes I suppose the same question could be posed to the P45/CW45 owners as well?

I have found the longer mag has a better grip for me. That half inch makes a big difference in my grip and has no effect on my concealablity. I carry IWB at 1:00 in a Bianchi 100 Proffesional holster with my shirt untucked. The CW9 with the extra round mag hides very well for me. And that's the key phrase...for me.
Your milage may vary.

I use the 7 rounder as it works better for me as I normally carry my CW9 in my right front pocket. The 8 rounder is just enough longer to make a difference in not being able to draw from my pocket easily.

When I carry the P9 it usually will have the 7 round mag. I have been testing my "No-Name" 8 round mags though and so far they have been flawless. I use Kahr 8 round mags at the range for practice, but they are the mags meant for my T9 and TP9 and don't have the extended finger grip.

What "no name" mags are you using, and where can they be purchased?

They are unmarked, but probably either Pro Mag or TripleK I think. Here's a photo showing normal 7 and 8 round Kahr mags, a ?? 7 round mag and a ?? 8 round mag. Note the different base plates on the ?? mags. That's a 8 rounder inserted in the P9.

I use the 7 round mags and throw a couple spares in my front pocket.

I'd like a black/blued 6rd magazine for the blackened pm9. That would help me feel better about the metal flashing during pocket carry. And, I don't know that I'm handy enough to do this right:

I use the 7 rounders with a remora holster. It works with some pants.

Thanks, Pro-Mag, that must be what I have. The gun came with 5 of the 7 round mags and 5 of the 8 round mags. So far I've only one mishap with them and it was a minor one... the slide failed to lock on the last round.
