This is the type of stuff the gun grabbers hate to hear. A student attending a party got his gun and took on some home invaders. This is from the latest Front Sight newsletter

"A lone, heroic college student grabs a gun out of his backpack to repel and kill home invaders, saving his friends from rape and murder!
Now just think how ALL of the previous high profile mass shootings would have turned out differently IF there was an armed citizen within conversational distances of the deranged gunman… Well, as our college student bravely demonstrated, when a citizen turns the tables on a violent criminal, GUNS SAVE LIVES!"

Did you hit the blue arrow play button? or did you get that page?
Never mind. I'm using IE9 and it works with that, but didn't from my laptop with IE8. I'll see what I can do

Did you hit the blue arrow play button? or did you get that page?

My bad, it pulled up a blank page (so I thought,) but I scrolled down to the bottom and this message was there:
"You must use Internet Explorer or install the Active X
controls on your browser to view this video"

Will try again w/ IE. Thanks.

See if this works: http://kartalk.pccomps.com/student-shoot-home-invaders.mov

It's an apple quicktime movie instead of the normal WMV so that's more than likely the cause of some problems.

The link above did work from my laptop with IE8, so mabye it will work better.

I converted it to a wmv file. http://kartalk.pccomps.com/student-vs-invaders.wmv
It should open in a window, or right click and do a save target as, and then open it.

Great story! Of course, it won't get coverage with the national news media.

Wasn't that in Georgia (hotlanta even) a couple of years ago?

Could be, he's been known to drag up old stories to make his point. It was in Atlanta from what I gather.
