What prices are CM9's running these days? Are prices going up, down, staying stable? Should I buy it now or wait the 2-3 months until I get my CCW license?

BUY NOW! :D $417 shipped...
http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=76031
I bought my CM9 on 3/28 http://kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=6176 (the 1st day they were released for sale) at Buds and paid the same price, they go up to $430 some days. So I would buy it now(they do sell out a lot) and get it broken in and your accessories bought for it.
I have yet to hear anyone beat Buds $417 shipped price, unless they get LEO discount pricing or "know" some FFL. And then it's not by much. I have also seen/heard of much higher prices like $450-$500 as well.
I paid $400 for my CW9 after it had been out for years so I would say the CM9 @$417 is more then fair for a brand new gun that does have a slightly higher MSRP then the CW's.

I agree with all above. I've bought several from Bud's and never had a problem. I'd like to buy another from Bud's right now, not even sure which one but I got the wants, ya know?

They had went up to $429 at buds a couple weeks ago. I heard they might eventually go up some by the end of the year. But you know how accurate the internet is ;)

prsonally if u can find a cm9 fo runer $425, u damn well better jump on it. the price is not gonna go up and I don';t forsee it falling much either. I would not let $25 one wayt or the other keep me from buying a cm9 Because someone comes on here and maybe posts buying one for $400 or even under, doesn't mean diddly squat.. He just got a bargain thats all. he norm seems to be anywhere from $415 to $435. They dn't sit long in a dealer showcase either.

Just to update everyone, they are $455 after taxes in West Michigan :D I put one on layaway at Gander yesterday, and I couldn't be more excited. Regular price is $549 there, but I had them price match with a LGS because I had a gift card for Gander. He wasn't too happy about the price match, but he did it :)
Now I just have to decide whether to pick it up before or after my CCW license comes through. Here in Michigan, you have to get a pistol permit and get it registered ,ahem, "safety checked" at the police department unless you have a CCW, then you can just pay your money and be on your way.
However, being able to have it broken in before I get the permit is appealing, too. That and just having it :D

Buy it. Buy it. It's always better to get it now than have to wait for a price change one way or the other. I think I paid 439 at a gun show but I traded in another pistol I had also for the CM9.

You know, any price within a $20 range for the gun you want is a good price. Some find it for $419, others $429 yet others for $439. Not a big deal compared to holding it in your hand. I've missed getting some items I really wanted badly (even when I had the money) because I thought I could save a couple bucks if I waited or went somewhere else. It's not worth it to "over shop" this thing. Two years from now you won't remember or care about the difference in price.

Just to clarify, my CM9 is on layaway, so my price is locked in, I just have to decide whether to pick it up before or after my CCW comes through.

Well, the idea of having the gun broken in and holster worked out, etc. makes a lot of sense to me, so I picked up the purchase permit yesterday and hope to have time to pick up the pistol this afternoon.

Range report: 100 rounds, no failures that I blame the gun for. There were a few times that I didn't let the trigger reset, so I didn't even get a click. There were also a couple of times I didn't get the top round seated, so it hung up on the bottom of the feed ramp. Accuracy was good, better than the shooter, and totally acceptable for defensive purposes. I'm sure my accuracy will improve with experience. All in all, I'm totally happy with it.

So after my last post, I cleaned my CM9 last night. Wow, that was the easiest cleaning I've ever done. I'm not sure if it was due to the stainless steel barrel (it is stainless, isn't it?), or the ammo I was shooting, but the first patch looked like the stage where I give up cleaning my AK sometimes. It even cleaned lots easier than my Bersa. I was using some of my USA Ammo from the GearHog.com sale a couple weeks ago, FYI.

Sportsman's Warehouse in Phoenix had them in stock for $429 last week. I've seen them elsewhere for $469 and $499.
